How has the paint work and quality been on this series as a whole? I'm thinking about dipping my toes in the water...

I have been incredibly pleased and impressed with the Avengers 1/10 line. Love em! The price is starting to creep up but most of the IW series was in the $90-110 range and the EG series has been in the $100-$150 range. They are getting really nice in quality though.

For sure. I can't say enough good things about the quality of these pieces. I have all the Infinity War pieces and am starting to get the Endgame ones in as well. The new EG Doctor Strange is really hefty and the effect of coming out of the portal is awesome. I also just received Antman and Wasp from their stand-alone film and they will fit in perfectly with the other Endgame statues. Agree that the price creep is disappointing, but fortunately once I muscle my way through all of the Endgame pieces, I think I'm done (that includes getting all the Black Order, new Captain Marvel and probably new Thanos). I don't even look at my cost spreadsheet anymore! :)

I’m getting a large chunk of these Endgame pieces, plus quite a few from prior lines, and the quality on the figures themselves are pretty good. I rarely like the paint on the bases (on any of their scales), and on a couple of occasions the figure hasn’t sat flush with the base, there can be visible glue and seam sometimes, but all in all I’m happy to have them in my collection.

But note I consider these to be supplement pieces, rather than my primary pieces in my collection as I purchase them to more or less fill holes in my collections.

The four Black Order pieces and Deluxe Thanos are up at Sideshow.

I’m in the process of preordering all five of them locally from Popcultcha.

Ordered Hawkeye from SS. If I’m happy with him I’ll likely be in for many more pieces from this line.

The Hawkeye is a good looking piece. I had a scuff Mark on the bow, but everything else was fine.

That's a bit worrisome to hear, but I'll have to get at least one in-hand to judge for myself. It seems everyone agrees that Iron Studios base paint is lacking, which is a bit odd. I wonder if they rush the paint job on, what they consider to be, less key areas of the statues to keep their cost down. With the prices continuing to rise and the bases becoming more complex I don't know if they'll be able to keep that up and keep fans purchasing.

I can tell you if Hawkeye has the issues that you mentioned (not fitting the base, visible glue, etc.) then I'll send him right back to SS. I wouldn't accept that at any scale.

I have quite a few 1/4 scale statues. I'm mainly interested in this line because it seems to embody the films quite well. That's something that hasn't been well done in 1/4 scale and would be prohibitively expensive anyways.

I?ve got all the Infinity War pieces and the Endgame ones that have come out. I don?t have issues with the base paint at this scale. I did a bit with the 1/4 scale Thanos but at 1/10 it doesn?t register to me. Haven?t had any of the other issues described so feel lucky. Did have to get a replacement doctor strange from Endgame as it arrived with a broken leg but otherwise all has been good

For Hawkeye I didn’t have any issues. It fit nicely into the base, but I may have an issue maybe 20% of the time.

But note I have more than most here with almost 40 or so 1/10 scale pieces from Iron Studios. The last one I had that had an issue was the Endgame Thanos. Everything looked and fit great except for the hand holding his sword. As the hand appears to have been glued in two parts around the handle, which was badly aligned creating a terrible seam and the glue is somewhat of an eyesore if you’re looking at it from above. But with these lower cost items it takes quite a bit for me to return a piece as long as it fits into the base and nothing is broken.

I didn’t realise that had even been released yet as I’ve got that preordered locally. I also had to return my Doctor Strange but from the IW line as the belt/rope had arrived broken in my case.

My favourite 1/10 scale pieces are probably still their Thanos’ and their Aquaman piece (though I did have a problem with the lack of eyes on the IW Thanos). And I liked the growing effect for their Ant Man.

Yes, I pre-ordered from Sideshow and got mine on Tuesday. They're obviously bogged down with holiday stuff as my inquiry about a replacement hasn't been answered yet. They're usually on top of that stuff in a day or less.

Hopefully I get mine soon, but the distributor here doesn’t have a confirmed ETA yet.

I’m definitely getting this new Captain Marvel, but I’m really wishing I didn’t pull the trigger on the previous one a few months back.

I’m probably not going to get the Caps, but they look a lot better than I thought they would.

But I wonder how many more diorama sets or iconic moments Iron Studios are going to make from Endgame?

I do not like Brie Larson at all but i like the Captain Marvel character. What to do.

Up to you really, as you should only spend your hard earned money on things you completely want. I myself couldn’t really care one bit about what the actress has or hasn’t said. I liked the film and her character somewhat, so I’ll be getting it. I’ve also got the 1/6 figure on preorder as well, but it’ll be nice to have her as she was shown in Endgame.

But with regards to this statue, I can already see this is going to be one of the few where paint on the costume is ‘potentially’ going to be a mess. Just look closely at the line transitions between red, blue and gold. This is the prototype and I know it’s 1/10 scale but it’s kind of a mess, but because of the scale it might be the best we can expect.

I’m definitely getting this new Captain Marvel, but I’m really wishing I didn’t pull the trigger on the previous one a few months back.

In the same boat! At the time I thought the stand-alone Captain Marvel would suffice for my Endgame diorama. After seeing this new one...no, no it will not. Will likely sell my stand-alone CM after this one arrives, likely at a huge loss :)
