Alycon what tabbards are thoe on your Anakin figure? And can you direct me as to where to get them?

That?s actually a full custom outfit a member on the boards made before Hot Toys released their Anakin. It?s by Hautehero.

Great pose hen88. I take it the robe is wired to get that effect. Very nice.

Thanks! Yes - there?s wiring along the bottom hem of the coat. It takes some futzing, but it?s a cool feature.

I'm on the same boat, but it is a pity, everything else looks really terrific.

Everyone has to go by their own eyes on this kind of thing, after all no point laying down serious money to live with something that you aren't going to be truly happy with, even if it is something you wanted to like or initially had been looking forward to. Particularly when there's always the next thing just over the horizon that might be more satisfying to own. Plus which, most of us can't come close to owning everything we might like, so being selective and trusting your own eyes and gut and what works for you and in your collection certainly isn't a sin. :)

He arrived today. I think he looks fantastic. I might try another pose with his lightsaber.

Nice job on the photos, heon! Alas, this figure is way off in my eyes. And speaking of eyes, his look oversized, like he's Anime Luke or something. Maybe it's just me.

If he hadn't followed Ahch-To Luke, perhaps I would look on him more favorably.

However, with that said...

Also should note that the hood feels very cheap...

This is true of Ahch-To Luke, as well. On mine, the layers inside the hood have separated in places, and I have seen it happening in the photos of others, as well. Also, the wire broke, although admittedly I put these toys through a hell of a lot more than most collectors do.

Also, there were distracting fraying bits all along the circumference of the opening of the hood on mine; they were distracting chiefly because they are not to scale; it becomes too obvious that it is a toy, when all other evidence suggests that I have an actual shrunken Mark Hamill on my shelf.

Yesterday, I took a lighter and carefully burned away all the frayed bits, and now the hood looks better. Next, I'm gonna buy some cheap fabric glue to try to seal the layers of the hood.

I am glad I passed on this Luke, but Last Jedi Rey is surprisingly going up in price, so I kinda regret having waited so long to procure her.

I know there aren't many fans on here, but I suspect a lot of these ST figures will go up in price and become much sought after items once the trilogy is over. Especially with TROS likely to go out on a high note.

Honestly, I would rather that happen as if interest in ST figures go up, HT would be more inclined to do 2.0's.

This is probably not the most necessary improvement, but the sculpt on the sticks in Luke's backpack always struck me as somewhat soft and cheap-looking, so I added some actual twigs instead:

Next, I might replace the bottle. It's not that I have a strong dislike for the (admittedly off-putting) scene wherein Luke milks the critter and makes a taunting, milk-messy face at Rey. Indeed, I kinda like how he initially just persistently trolls her in the most unlikable fashion.

No, my problem is that the bottle just looks too anachronistic. It doesn't make me think of the exotic blue milk from a galaxy far, far away; it makes me think of the United States of fifty years ago, when milkmen delivered bottles to one's doorstep.

Not sure what (if anything) I'll replace it with, but I'm not feeling the bottle.

Has anyone else added to or customized Luke's backpack?

I think you meant to post this in the other Luke thread ;)

I just got the figure and it?s really nice, but my only problem is that the tailoring on the sleeves of the black tunic is odd. The sleeves only reach just past the elbows and do not go down to the wrists. Is this normal or a defect?

That's how it is in the movie.

Got this today. I think it?s pretty good. I agree with others that a few more wrinkles in the sculpt would have been nice. Here are some phone pics
