Was such a good time to be here and collecting HT in general back then.

MILK magazine scans and real excitement.

It was way more fun back then, more people too. I remember when Wookster would drop specs/pics early in the morning along with hi-res pics. Those MILK magazine shots were always sold me on the figures. Such creative shots. Love the one of Dent in the car sitting there contemplating.


What's up with that base? Aren't those the standard cardboard sticker base that comes with Marvel figures? This is a DC figure. Could have given him the grated TDK DX base that came with DX 01, 02 and 11. You know, like how Warner Bros displayed the actual costumes back in the day.






Just gut the lights out of it and put a Two-Face name plate on it.





Always thought those were classy, especially for museum style poses/displays.

I have the DX1 (Joker), DX 11 (joker 2.0), and DX 12 Batman. I sold everything else years ago.

I sold Two Face, original Bank Robber J, first MMS Joker, MMS TDK Bats and DX02 Bats.

While on the Batman subject, I also have 89 Joker and Bats. That's it for 1/6 HT Batman stuff.

- Sith Anakin. T'Chaka and concept Captain America are still in stock a year later. We both know Dent isn't going anywhere. That Scarlett Spider-Man is by far the coolest of the exclusives.

- Display/collection wise, minimalism is key. You're clearly not a completest. The perfect Nolan Batman Hot Toys display is TDK Batman and the Joker. Everything else is fluff.

- You save $270 that can go towards something much cooler.

- The value for what you get here is horrible. He's a barebones doll in a suit with little tiny trinkets and hands. On par with the value of Princess Leia, Black Widow and yes, Jared Leto Joker,

- Dent is lame.

Well I was retired from buying 1/6 scales figures, but I always wanted a TDK Two Face, I just hope the tailoring comes close to the prototype. Pre-ordered from SSC

Well, I still have the original Two-Face. I think he was my second or third figure ever, back in the day. I will say, the head sculpt and tie are definitely better on the new one, but I guess 1/6 suit technology hasn't come very far in the last decade...

I see this as pretty on par with the Bank Robber Joker 2.0: a slight-to-decent range upgrade mostly unnecessary to those that still have the original, but awesome to those that missed the first one and don't want to pay ebay prices for it.

If Hot Toys continues to remake figures every ten years, I'll gladly take a new Godfather and Leonidas!

Just ordered mine. The $60 or so I had in reward points helped ease the sting of the price tag. Can't wait to display this guy by the first release Harvey. I haven't pre-ordered a Hot Toys figure since Justice League Bats. Fun to have two on the way (eventually...)!

I really don’t see the appeal of the before two face head and coat....would anyone display 2 face as dent instead? This 2.0 face looks great to me, a big improvement over the og

I ordered Two-Face. Had about $40 in rewards points so to me he is worth it. He will be my only non-Star Wars Hot Toy figure. I have been trying to stay with the minimalist mind-set for characters for movies, and Two-Face is actually my favorite Batman character. He will look great on a lone shelf, if they release a new Joker I may get him also.

Idk if this happened to anyone else but my two face knees broke. I’m not sure if it was due to it being an old body or what but same thing happened to my old joker figure V1 . Glad this came out

Yeah its happened on a few figures of mine. I think the joints will freeze up after a long period of inactivity and when you try to move them, or even if they are just standing on their own weight, they will break. All of mine have broken at the hip though, not the knees.
