This sort of picture above always makes me think.

Imagine if you were in the desert and someone came up to you wearing a suit like that. You'd say to yourself WTF and kill yourself laughing. But in a movie it's fine :lol

See I'd be cautious and polite, not knowing if they were (a) filming something and were in costume or (b) bats**t crazy.

I'm in a desert? What's with all the giggling? First you are SUPER nice because this woman may have water and some means to save you. If she doesn't and you confirm you're not crazy and she's just another poor lost soul roaming, you're still super nice. This may be the last woman you ever see. You need to befriend her at the least and at the most try to make something happen before you both die.

As much as I like the design from the solo movie, I do think the EG suit was a whole lot more flattering on Larson, and didn't have the same loose, ill-fitted look the first one had for some reason.

Yeah I realize it wasn't meant to be the same kind of skin-tight leather outfit that BW wears, but it still just didn't look as good on her as I'm used to with Marvel costumes. Especially when she moved in it.

I'll give you that, but as it was basically a standard Kree uniform I still think both Brie and Gemma Chan looked pretty good in it. Having it made of partly of fabric might have helped fit-wise, but as it was written to have versatility as a battle suit, flight suit, scuba suit, etc., that probably wouldn't have made much sense.

Neon Exclusive someday?

:lol

They are crazy enough to do it and they have already done it with Iron Man and Black Panther.

That Nendoroid looks pretty cool!

Oh yeah? Cool. I haven't picked up any comics in awhile. I need to remedy that. :D

Yeah check some out. They recently did a run called The Life Of Captain Marvel I believe. A 5 or 6 issue run where they said this is her definitive origin. Turns out she is half Kree half human. Mother was a Kree warrior, father human. She always had her powers but the accident or what have you just activated them.

I'm heading to Wichita this weekend and I'm hitting the comic book shop there so I'll look up that run, thanks for the tip! :duff

Also consider the new Hulk run Immortal Hulk. Amazing!! My favorite book. Real horror vibe. If you like big event books Thor has a massive one now war Of The Realms which touched every book for the most part marvel put out the past 2 months. Final 6th issue comes out tomorrow. I’d check both out.

Yeah think I might have to grab myself one of them :)
I think I'm mildly obsessed with Captain Marvel to be honest...have the HT on order now I want the Nendoroid & will probably even grab the Mezco One:12 as well if I can lol

It's actually available in TPB now as well so might be the easiest way to pick it up in one go

I called the comic shop and asked them to pull some books for me including Captain Marvel, Captain America, War of the Realms, X-Men, Star Wars and Immortal Hulk (a friend recommended it also). :D

I look forward to reading Immortal Hulk!

Sweet, thanks for the link! :duff

I'm part of the way through the Immortal Hulk run -- it's almost got a Hellboy vibe at times.

I just read The AV Club's list of the best comics of 2019 so far and it's on it. They raved about it, so I've added it to my list of future TPBs to pick up.

I also read The Life of Captain Marvel. Highly recommended.

Yeah I've always been a huge fan of Cosmic Marvel in general & finally seeing Captain Marvel get her own film & quality figures is awesome.
Would you believe that I haven't actually seen the film yet!
Long boring story as to why but I don't get to the cinema at all these days so waiting for home release...I've been able to avoid all spoilers so far too ;)
Anyway she is probably my most anticipated arrival this year

No problems buddy happy to help

Oh the subject of comics & not at all Marvel related but have you seen that Lady Death had a "Captain Death" variant cover??

I haven’t been reading any recent X-Men, I do know Marvel is about to do a serious change with them. Jonathan Hickman is taking over for the next few years. Marvel is building a lot of hype around it.
Also if you like the cosmic stuff the recent Guardians Of The Galaxy run with much needed Silver Surfer Black that ties into are both really good books. Donny Cates has been on a tear.
