Watching the extended Celebration footage the Mandalorian really doesn't speak with the cadence of ESB Fett (original voice) so I'll resign myself to assuming it's not him and be pleasantly surprised if it is. I still fully expect Favreau to redeem everything that was cool about Fett even if he couldn't use the correct character and plan to just enjoy the ride. I mean he's got him with that big forked prong rifle riding giant beasts for crying out loud, lol.

I don't think it's Fett. We know Fett is a clone of Jango and should look like all the other clones of Jango under the mask.
They got the Game of Thrones guy specifically so we could see his face. If he never took off the helmet, the part would just be played by an assortment of random stuntmen.

Disney didn’t pay millions of dollars for their hosts to trash their brand on live tv.

One of my most recent gigs was for a relatively high profile corporation that gets a fair bit of press.
On a *daily basis* I was under strict orders of diplomacy, brand messaging and deference to the PR department. Saying what I actually thought about anything was laughable.
Everything was contractually enforced. I no longer work for them and I still can't talk about them thanks to legally enforced final idemnity clauses I signed when I left.
The carrot is money and lawsuits are the stick. Every damn time. And I wasn't working with a multi-billion dollar entertainment juggernaut.
Moreover -- had I not signed certain papers and started shooting my mouth off, I would have immediately hurt my future employment opportunities. Oh hello, Stick.
