The divisiveness of this movie between fans is legitimately hilarious to me. The best part is that any and all who dislike it for any reason is a sexist troll. The whole situation is a complete sheit-show from all angles.

That's utter nonsense. It's blatantly obvious when someone critiques the movie in a way that reveals their sexist leanings, the same way that it was with The Last Jedi.

Please take discussion of the movie here: https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/...151219-captain-marvel-march-8-2019-a-280.html

Yep it certainly is. I just scroll on past it all.

I can come back into this thread now I’ve finally seen the film. I know you try your best not to spoil but some people can’t be trusted lol.

Loved the film and I’m sold on the figure. Great stuff.

I got the art book on friday and this is most likely her full Endgame look as it was the only one with gold shoulders.

I could see HT doing a black concept art Captain Marvel someday.

Thanks. It really is very similar isn't it. Wonder if they will even bother. Sure they'd like to make the money, but there are so many other figures I guess.

Wonder if we'll get anything from HT this week generally. Has been very quiet.

She actually did smile in the movie quite a bit. She seemed to be the only one in her crew that was joking around with anyone. Her training seemed to be focused on suppressing her natural emotions.

She is still filling the Disney vault with lots more cash

"Captain Marvel is at the top of the box office yet again with an impressive $69.3 million domestic haul. This brings the Carol Danvers standalone movie to $760.2 million globally in just two weeks as it puts its sights on DC's Aquaman numbers. Marvel Studios' first female-led superhero movie is enjoying mostly positive reviews from fans and critics as the Marvel Cinematic Universe prepares for Avengers: Endgame, which hits theaters late next month and also stars Brie Larson."

There’s also a version with the sash that I seriously hope is how the full look is in Endgame

well they weren’t supposed to say so I want to respect that but basically there are at least two more figures coming. Yon-rogg is one of them. I assume the other is talos

Thanks Iron Koob! It will be nice to have those two figures. I can already feel my wallet complaining about the potential upcoming figures from Hot Toys.

:exactly: In the grand scheme of things, Marvel is doing a good job of balancing out with different types of characters. Ant-Man and Star-Lord seem to be on one end of the hilarious/comedian spectrum in terms of character while Cap and Doctor Strange are on the opposite end. However, I like them all and enjoy their interactions with each other. MCU will be extremely boring if everyone acted the same way.

I also won't be surprised to see some characters evolve over time. I've already noticed it with Thor and Tony Stark. Thor used to be very serious but he smiles a lot (relatively speaking) lately.

Agreed. There was a natural warmth to her that hasn’t really been that present in the MCU. I have no idea what people are complaining about.

So at the art show thing I mentioned previously, they played with the sash a lot as you can see in the concept art book but they eventually settled on "No sash." It's the same people working on endgame so I don't think we'll get the sash in endgame, if ever.
