The Barge looks fantastic but my 3 3/4 stuff is long gone and I can't collect everything. Great to see a home befitting of the old Palace Riff Raff though. Wish we could get half the characters in 1/6 that have the 3 3/4" treatment.

No thankfully, though the timing wasn’t great as I’m about to leave town for a week so had to ask the seller if he would delay the shipping. I also still have nowhere to put it so it’ll just go to the basement after checking that nothing is broken. That’s why I was planning to wait this one out, the fact that those eBay coupons dried up really helped in that regard.

If HT shows one at SDCC that would be rough, and this Jabba did kind of show up suddenly, kind of un-Sideshow like — TaliBane has been beating that drum like it means something’s afoot.

I don't know... I think its more likely that HT will preview General Grievous at SDCC than a Jabba... I mean, HT loves their robots.

I do hope HT will try their hand at Jabba at some point -- I know they would knock it out of the park. However unlikely it may seem, remember that HT's first Star Wars figure was Chewbacca (an alien AND haired).

Mine arrived this morning, and holy hell is that box big. I think my wife could easily fit inside it without even crouching over (I didn't actually test this out, mind you...) I haven't had the chance to really unpack it yet, but I plan to do a full review of it similar to what I did with this figure. That will take a little while, though.

HT SDCC prototypes will be an interesting look into what direction they go figure wise over the next 18 or so months. Should see Bespin Han and Lando at minimum but I'm also hoping for more ESB and ROTJ stuff. I'm afraid that they will go overboard with clones and prequel characters.

I expect a more balanced SDCC between OT and PT this year, maybe a slight leaning toward PT.

Massive General Grievous would certainly balance the Scout on Speeder bike that's overdue.

HT SDCC prototypes will be an interesting look into what direction they go figure wise over the next 18 or so months. Should see Bespin Han and Lando at minimum but I'm also hoping for more ESB and ROTJ stuff. I'm afraid that they will go overboard with clones and prequel characters.

Really hope they get onto Han and Lando. Very much overdue. God, I hope they don’t go down the Clone rabbit hole. Some more ROTJ like Endor Han and Leia would be great. I’d be just that teeny bit closer to rounding out my collection.[emoji846]

Well that goes without saying, but HT will have to wait as always until Sept to start the reveals. Of course, it could go the way of TLJ also -- meaning not so much product.

Let's not forget, there are "The Mandolorian" figures that may be announced and I wouldn't put it past Disney to have HT work some sixth-scale release into those park openings. I think HT's huge focus is going to be Avengers this year...SW isn't until December and JJ doesn't like to let anything out of the bag early. Most we may see from Episode IX is some trooper variant. A Jabba could be cool, but I shudder at the cost and materials.

In the meantime, this jawa is still waiting outside the palace with Bubo to see if anybody has any new photos of this SS one to tease us all with...
