The SSC Luke Jedi sculpt doesn't look bad in the x-wing helmet. The helmet hides the two major flaws - the dead eyes and the cartoony jawline. The only issue I have with the HT sculpt (which I think is otherwise a terrific ESB or ROTJ Luke) in the helmet seems to highlight the "teethy" aspect to the sculpt.

So can the SSC head be separated from the speeder bike helmet with heat/boiling water or is the screwdriver like it was for the SSC Luke Hoth head?

I actually really like this figure. I like it a lot. I'm glad I got it it's very Luke Skywalker-y.

There's no doubt there's a decent dollop of Hamill in the sculpt but in certain pics this fig looks to be 1/12 scale. Something about the head that feels like its a smaller scale. Maybe it's the level of detail and simpler paint apps and how 6" scale figs have slight caricature because of the limitations of scale.

Dude a Mezco Jedi Luke 1/12 fig would ROCK!

Hehe, wow you dug that old comment up? ...well, yes. That’s exactly what I’m saying, if you don’t agree with me you don’t know ****... come on man [emoji28]

Old comment? It took me that long to two finger type my response.

I do not visit Freaks very often when little is going on, hardly ever post and check my posts never. I am averaging just over 8 posts a year since I joined in 2007 but i doubt you were even born yet. :rolleyes2

I do need to thicken my skin as you can see ... I am easily agitated.:chillpill:

Those are great shots and a good pose there, SkullDuggrey!

Here's a couple new shots from me...

This figure is growing on me.
Why? Because I'm having a good time playing with it.

Damn you Sideshow! Making a figure that begs to be played with instead of stuck in a museum pose and stared at. :)

I agree this figure is a lot of fun to play around with. And those last two shots of yours are awesome looking! I will try to get some more action pix myself during the day when the lighting is better. I knew when I saw this on pre-order a year ago there was no way I would not be getting it and I'm happy to say it turned out better than I hoped it would. As with any figure I do have a couple nits, you can see the magnet under his shirt in the middle of his chest and the rubbery thumb on the sabre holding hand can look unnatural in certain poses. Overall though I'm very pleased with this figure even if I think it's over priced, but aren't they all? I'm still kicking myself for giving away the Hasbro 1/6 speeder bike. He would be a great display piece with that thing.
