You may pay more at Sideshow, but they have the best return policy. Paint job not up to your standards? Send it back! Change your mind after getting it in hand? Send it back!

Who else allows that?

bbts allows returns too. $70 is $70.

A thing to keep in mind is that retailers can't get replacements some times. Another thing is sometimes they charge you to ship it back. Iron Man products from Sideshow seem to always have problems unfortunately.

i have received items from sideshow that appeared to have been a return as well. never had the replacement issue though. i think all retailers redistribute returns too.

BBTS - 679.99 + 50.59ups shipping = $730.58

SSC - 699.99 + 20.43ups shipping = $720.42 (plus $35 in points & return policy)

Yep! that looks like a great deal

Alteregocomics has it for $629.99 with $50 shipping for a total of $679.98. So yeah, definitely worth saving the $40.44.

i can't wait for this bad boy. there are going to be quite a few people kicking themselves for passing on this.

Agreed.

A few years down the road this will be the grail of marvel 1:1's...open edition size wont be a factor by then.

In a few years something cooler and shinier will come out and this piece will be forgotten. I think this bust looks amazing but the life span of a collectible is not that long usually. There’s always something better around the corner and everyone rushes to the next best thing…

well if you always have that mindset you'd never buy anything

I buy stuff but I definitely know better than to hope the value keeps the same as when I purchased it new. That’s just the way collectible market is and always will be. Values go up (every one flocks to the collectible), values go down (everyone flocks to the next hot collectible).

Gotta agree. Look at how much people used to pay for Beanie Babies and where are they now?

i guess for me i only buy what i like and if that means its not going to be worth much after it doesn't matter. for instance i have the freddy and jason PFs and both go below retail price but i love them both and dont care about there after market price

I look at electronics that way too. I hated buying a BD PLayer because I know in a few years something bigger and badder will be out.

Man too true. I hate buying electronics as well.

I do believe this Iron Man 1:1 bust will retain it's value, if not increase by some though. It's usually those open editions that catch every one by surprise.

My first Flex-Pay payment will be taken soon. Good bye money... good bye. :wave :monkey2:joy
