Nice pics, but the Sideshow takes the winners medal for me, the overall thing just looks better, the only thing I prefer from the Toynami one is the base.

In France, less than $100 in my favorite shop ...Higher price for Sideshow

Nice shots Chewee, I still think the SS looks meaner/tougher - two great busts!! Either one is pure win as a collector.

You should add a bit to one of your posts covering the lights (& sound for the HCG) on the two options.

I still prefer HCG/Toynami piece to SideShow, it's more subtle (if one can say that for an Endo skull : ), I feel like it represents Terminator better then SS piece..

Still, they both look amazing, especially placed together like that!

If i had to choose only one I will stick with the STAN WINSTON approved Sideshow. To me the HCG bust is a little out of proportion especially the teeth. Don't get me wrong still think it looks cool because it is an ENDOBUST Being in reality I don't have to choose just one I will eventually try and acquire all of the 1:1 scale Endobusts available for the collection. I agree. The HCG is a bit too round or something. I'm just not happy with the shape of the skull. Even IF the Sideshow wasn't the more accurate version, I would prefer it more.

Great pics, thanks. SS is my fav. since they had the chance to fix any flaws with the HCG.

In my honest opinion, I doubt that Stan Winston had anything to do with the SS piece (with the exception of his name pinned to it), I don't think he even saw it, and actually approved it..
That is my own opinion formed by talking to some people trough time, and even more, by reading "Winston Effect" and watching some documentaries (mostly behind the scenes)..
You probably know, but Winston was a perfectionist, and SS skull simply has too many flaws that I don't think Winston would approve of..

Again, it's my opinion, I respect others, and I'm well aware that I'm in minority..

Icons skull would be "too round" while HCG, I believe is second generation recast of the actual screen used one!
SideShow is obviously NOT screen accurate, but "idealized" version of Terminator skull..It has some details softened, and overall a bit changed shape, also as mentioned many times before:
it has oversized CPU cover......it has oversized chip......most of the skulls are cross eyed....battle damage paint is awful....and teeth, no words for that.

And after all that, it's impressive skull and I wouldn't mind having it.....it's just matter of taste..

both are great but sideshows just looks better
