1/6 Custom Michael Jackson History/Invincible Era by Kumik

Just saw this on Ebay,
I ordered one, hopefully looks as good as it doesn in the pics...
Hair will need plenty of trimming and futzing and the hat looks like crap, but everything else looks great.

Full blown late year Michael Jackson, huh? Man, this just reminds me of how bad things got for that guy, and how far off the deep end he went.

Doesn't look much like History era to me but the face sculpt is actually pretty good for Invincible to This is It era Jackson (2001 to 2009) but whats up with the god awful hair it comes with ? Is the idea with Kumik customs that you're supposed to complete the hair yourself ?

Honestly it looks like a female version of MJ. It's a nice figure, but I'm not so sold on the likeness.

Well MJ did end up looking like a female version of MJ ....and an alien.

So its pretty accurate.

Nah.. I love MJ - always have. For me personally though, I'd like to own a piece to represent him at his absolute peak, so at some stage I'll be tracking down either the Beat It, Thriller or BAD version.

BAD is a beautiful set, likeness on the normal head on Thriller is a little weak, but Beat It is solid. Decisions..

Anyway, this current set looks great - it captures him well. Not something I'd want to own though..

Thanks for deleting an actual honest assessment. This thing looks awful from the head sculpt, the awful hat and the cloths looks like something from a Mattel $10 Ken doll.

You have to be desperate to buy this.

This looks good.

Kuzeh, I wanted to pick one of these up but i am going to pass things are kind of bad for us right now and i am trying not to spend any extra money if i do not have to.

But thanks for thinking of me when it comes to MJ. you still doing that Thriller Werecat?
