Maybe so people don't get confused with the show that was already called "Teen Titans"?

Could have potential. Speedy has been my favorite DC character for awhile now, so I'm glad to see him getting some attention.

Looking at the character designs from the previously posted video, I'm hoping for a Captain Marvel appearance.

How many "Teenagers have powers and whine a lot, and then fight things" shows do we need? Meh.....teenagers are boring. Middle age adults with sagging peens are much more interesting.

Ugh. I'm not a fan of Blaqualad. The character is a lame attempt to make Aquaman more interesting by pulling from his archenemy. This has the possibility to be really well done especially since they've said there is death coming within the series (I'm assuming the created characters especially since there are two archers set for this) but I'm hoping for the best.

Kind of weird to shoe-horn Artemis onto the team as a teenage protege of Green Arrow. She is an Amazon, and never had much to do with Green Arrow from what I know. But it is fine that they are taking liberties IMO. This isn't the comic book universe, and they aren't acting like it is obviously.

I'll definitely check this out on Friday. Looking forward to it.

Just set the DVR!

I'm totally psyched for this. This is what I thought Teen Titans was going to be when it was announced. With this and the Avengers, it looks like we have a lot of quality superhero cartoons. Long overdue IMO.

I love that they went with the Roy Speedy but am a little disappointed we got Blaqualad instead of the proper Garth Aqualad to go with them. I'm assuming because its modernized that we're getting Tim and Bart and that those are stylized Grayson and Wally. I like that they are going with the Cadmus explanation of Conner and geeked out a bit at just seeing Hal in animated form.

Time to set the TiVo.
