Rick Schmidlin's reconstruction of Tod Browning's 1927 lost silent classic, London After Midnight, airs tonight (10/19) at midnight on Turner Classic Movies channel.

Mark of the Vampire, Browning's 1935 sound remake with Bela Lugosi, airs earlier this evening, at 8 PM, prior to two additional Browning films, Freaks and The Devil Doll.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up!

edit: I swear I wrote this before the post above was posted :rotfl

Saw it the first time TCM aired it in the past and it was great. Hopefully they find the actual film in the near future because Chaney's character is incredible.

Good to know, thanks! I haven't seen those films in ages...

Weird.. TCM here is showing freaks.... But none of those other movies. At 12 am here they are showing Head.

OK I just figured it out. Its SHOWED (note past tense) at 12 am this morning... We missed it. :cuss :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

Halloween on TCM...

I highly recommend The Old Dark House and The Haunting!!!

why did this have to be posted?

.. I was "this" close to putting my LAM up on the bay ....now im unsure...

...Ooo.. Something to watch during spooktacular. :rock

Seriously, if you have never seen The Haunting, do yourself a favor and turn all the lights off and watch it in the dark! The ending isn't what it could have been, but getting there is pretty scary!

And The Old Dark House isn't all that scary, but it is classic Karloff, and I can watch pretty much anything he is in.
