Well ...

it's not a bad figure

The accessories are pretty cool and the paint job on the hands are top notch but...I just don't see Light Yagami on this sculpt , they took to much liberties on the design and likeness , and looks more like their own interpretation than the char we see on the anime.

Also there's a reason why the narrow shoulder body is used on outfits like suits or uniforms (proportions) in this case this is why Kira looks a little bit weird

Over all this is the worst gametoys figure I have ever had and probably gonna sell it

I hear ya on Kira. On the other hand, I really love L.

I think he looks perfect and his accessories are top notch. I'm really trying to love Light & Kira too, but the normal expression still looks off to me, and the skintone match between the head & silicone body is not that great. The Kira headsculpt looks great in my opinion! I've been debating selling too but I think I'll end up keeping them solely because I went through hell to get them. (And because they're still the best DN figures on the market despite these flaws)

Also I want to use my own poptoys suit with a narrow S body for his final and more evil form , if it looks good probably gonna keep only the sculpt with the smirk

But you're right Maybe I was expecting to much , I understand that it's a more realistic approach and not the anime look that I was looking for

Here is with the poptoys suit but it's still a WIP cause I can't find the shoes and the tie

Bruh.. He looks EXACTLY like the promo pics.. and even better in hand.. Like, man, if you weren't happy with how they looked in the promo pics, maybe don't order. Worst Gametoys figure you've ever had, bruh they made like 10 toys, relax. Spend ya money better or clean ya eyes. Never met such a big group of Toy Karens (not all of you, some of y'all are chill asf with this hobby and I dig that) in my life It's always "omg what's next from Gametoys, I'm so excited!" then it's "Gametoys really disappointed me with this one. I'm gonna sell it and never collect their products again.. I'm losing faith in them and they're too slow.." THEN it's "I regret selling it.." THENNN it's right back to "what's next from GT! What's taking Boss so longgg? Duurrrrr!"

Indeed, I too felt uncomfortable with the head when I saw the sample image.
Having seen DEATH NOTE in the manga, I felt uncomfortable with the eyes being too far apart and the size of the eyes, and felt that it was more like a doll than a figure
However, when I held the actual figure in my hands, I was only satisfied. I want this character too! Please make a figure of this work, too! I can't stop fantasizing about it

You didn’t get the extra suit and body from GT?

I know that some probably are gonna get mad if I say this but I didnt really liked the tailoring on the oficial suit and the way Light looks on it so I when for the more basic edition

its a pretty good figure, I was expecting to much after the final fantasy chars but dont mind me Im just fantasizing with my anime chars hehehe

He said he was selling his preorder, then when I asked if I could take the preorder over, he said a friend was interested in buying, so I don't know why he has the figure anyway haha. I can assume he kept the order because they started going up in value on Ebay

I will admit that Light is the weaker of the two figures. He does look very similar to the promo images though, but without the airbrushed shading. I really love the combination of the smirking sculpt with the Kira suit. I'm happy with my potato chip man.

Light was definitely the 2nd place for me. I was more excited for L to begin with. But I love the show, I love Gametoys, I love these figures and ya can't get one without the other! Makes me very excited for their Misa! Also.. Now Ima need a pic of him offering the chip toward the camera "Want One?"

To be honest on the topic of likeness, L really doesn’t look accurate, especially to the anime either but its still a great looking take on him

I just feel like though GT did a great job with their own take on L and Light, they are both beautiful figures and just amazing to look at

I am praying that we will still get Misa someday, I also hope for Ryuk, even if they decide to make a him a power pose or a statue (a figure would be preferred) but it would be nice to have him in GT’s style and in scale with their Light

I couldn't find them I remember Walter posting them in there, and I even tried looking through his postings to see if I could find them.. Maybe he took it down, bc around that time ppl were taking all his pics and posting them EVERYWHERE So I don't blame Walter at all.. Guess we'll just have to wait to see updates again.
