InArt - Ron Weasley 1/6 Collectible Figure

Yeah I’m not a fan of making thinks unnecessarily heavy. Weight holds no value visually. Never understood why some people felt a statue was a rip off if it wasn’t heavy. I’d rather take a durable plastic statue, base, or diorama than one made of heavy, brittle polystone.

InArt - Ron Weasley 1/6 Collectible Figure

At nearly $600 I think I’m ultimately going to have to pass. Nearly $2,000 by the end for the trio. It will be a mighty fine display but I just don’t know if InArt is for me.

HMTOYS NOF006 1/6 Vampire (The Master from Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Wow they just straight up reused Sideshow’s old head, candle, glass, snd hand sculpts :lol

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

I think the only real nit I have seeing them side by side is the fabric choice is off on the figure. The hood has a much shinier, silk like appearance on the actual costume. The figure has a much coarser, rougher looking fabric. Palpatine was a snazzy dresser before he gave up and exclusively...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

Looks like he’ll coming with the red coin at the event (guess this is still going and apart of it?) and the gold coin for select markets (aka Sideshow).

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

Other than when telling young Skywalker he was going to die, the Yoda fight might have been one of the few moments we really saw Palpatine enjoying himself and grinning. A smirk here and there for sure, but not a full on smile and cackle. It’s very fitting for this outfit.

1/6 Hot Toys - CMS017- Doctor Aphra (Marvel Comic): BT-1 Killer Droid

Aphra needs to come ASAP. If they don’t, I fear they’ll never release her. Santy has a decent chance coming in under the Book of Boba Fett banner. I’m a little surprised they haven’t done him yet, but it’s been a while since they did a Wookiee. I fear they’d make him an ‘Artisan’ figure now...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

At the rate HT has been pumping out Star Wars figures over the last month you’d think they’re losing the license or something. Kinda crazy numbers but some really unique and interesting figures and choices happening, even if a couple of turds like the chrome Cody and Goldie came from the batch...

1/6 Hot Toys - TMS126 - The Clone Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi (DeathWatch Disguise)

It’s very much something I’d have expected from Hasbro, but HT beat them to the punch. Still expecting Hasbro to do this for the 3 3/4” line since they just did Jango and are on a Mando repaint kick.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

I always assumed this and that CW look were the same outfit. He wears the same red/maroon outfit as the office duel throughout different CW episodes. I just assumed they borrowed those outfits rather than designing all new ones for him. I’d almost have preferred a single release with both heads...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS745/745B - Episode III: Revenge of The Sith - Darth Sidious

Looks fantastic. Glad to see HT going with some different expressions than a neutral look.

I have Harry on order but have been unsure if I’ll keep him.

InArt - Ron Weasley 1/6 Collectible Figure

I agree. I think red hair and blonde hair can be a little tricky to get right with paint, especially platinum blonde like Malfoy or Legolas. While Harry and Ron don’t really need the rooted hair for length, it does add a bit of realism. The sculpted option is incredible though and would be fine...

InArt - Ron Weasley 1/6 Collectible Figure

InArt really sells their items well, that’s for sure. The detail is incredible. No doubt the value is there. That chess set alone is amazing. I keep waffling whether I really want to take the InArt plunge or admire from a distance. I feel like Ron is going to be that tipping point, one way or...

Hot Toys Obi-Wan Kenobi (The Clone Wars)

I’m sure he’ll happen eventually. With Maul 2.0 and a Qui-Gon 1.0, he’s the last piece of that final duel.

InArt - Ron Weasley 1/6 Collectible Figure

Yeah it was smart adding an exclusive for a figure available globally but for those that are limited to certain markets it would upset a lot of people for not even having the chance to order it directly.

threezero is expanding the 1:6 GI JOE line for 2022!

Oh man, I’m not usually a fan of variants at this scale but those are too hilarious to pass on. Sounds like they’re BBTS exclusives like the Red Snake Eyes.

Any word if this will be a global piece like Dune?

Hot Toys - General Grievous (teaser)

For once I think this may be a figure that could benefit from some diecast parts. Every single GG from Hasbro has been just shy of being a gummy bear. The limbs are too thin to support any kind of weight. Having some diecast legs could at least help him stand. I do worry diecast arms would be...
