Overall I'm pretty happy with the figure but some people have really good points. The only things that bother me about it are: 1. Pants aren't a deal-breaker for me, but there were pants on the Bib Fortuna figure (who also came with a lot of accessories) and they were tailored well, not bulky...

My Palpatine just arrived and he is totally awesome! Futzing with him now and trying a few different poses. The only thing I don't like is the way his sash on the inner robe is tied, does anyone have any suggestions for a better looking way to tie it so both ends hang down? Maybe I should wet...

Well, when you put it that way, you're right! It just seemed odd to me that his look was more extreme in ROTS than in ROTJ.

I've wondered that too Wor-Gar, why Lucas gave him such long nails on ROTS when they weren't long in ROTJ? It seems like Lucas went more extreme with Palpatine's prosthetics in ROTS than in Jedi, which I think should have been the other way around. Still an awesome looking figure though, I'm...

That sucks! The third bullet down on the summery on the Sideshow page for the Emperor says pants! I hated that they didn't give any to the Sidious figure, so I was psyched that the Emperor was getting them. I guess not.:gah:

I still haven't been charged yet, my patience is stretched hair thin! It will be worth the wait though.

Got my processing notice!

I may very well purchase a thrown after I get my Emperor. I had ordered one originally but canceled, but seeing the pics of the figure in it are making me reconsider. I'm really concerned about the sturdiness of the throne after seeing all the ones that have arrived broken.

The newest pics really show off the sculpt well! I can't wait to get a closer look at the underneath robe.
