I'm so sad to see there's been no more updates! With our last one being "fixing mistakes from other factory"... did they have to scrap one Manu to move to another? Obviously that would take time, but just tell us that!

I still want this figure so bad! we have to have hope, brethren! We must stay strong!

It's been a while since our last update, I'm hoping that we'll get final production news soon.

Genuinely wonder how long a company like this can stay afloat with only one release per year?
Did Lim even release anything last year? Last year was only the 1/12 Leon and Arthur reissue right? I can't remember if there was anything else.

they released the 1/12 last of us figures too, unless that was earlier this year i can't remember

If I remember correctly, the 1/12 versions of Jol and Ellie released late last year. We have no official news yet, but I assume that Connor should be next in line to be released.

Maybe some of you have seen it already, 5ktoys announced that the 1/12 snake will be shipped soon. Meaning the android should be the next, right? Unless they decide to do the sick Arthur head sculpt first.

Since we can only sit here and wait, going a bit off topic wont hurt.

I low-key want the android takes exactly 5 years to be released so I can put this sticker next to the figure:

1. MGS V is a great game! Hey this new toy brand makes some outstanding figures of the game!
2. Oh what is this new preorder Limtoys is doing? This video game is on PC yet? ok I dont know this character but nice figure anyway

4. (DBH released on PC)
5. oh wow great game indeed, no wonder why Limtoys picked this character
6. i see the figure is still being made, ok stuff like this takes time. so the face model/va streams on twitch? might worth checking out
7. (been occasionally joining the streaming chat to the point that the streamer seems to recognize my user name)
8. (been occasionally checking this thread like this is a mutual aid group)

P.S. I will NOT share the existence of this figure to any "official parties" like some fools tagged Roger Clark in an Arthur figure post

Personally I don’t think this figure will ever be made. The world moves on pretty fast these days. Detroit was an amazing game percent. It’s old school now. This figure was announced some 5 years ago. To me that’s very telling. It would be a waste of time and money for LIM to produce this now. I joined this thread because I was super excited to see Connor in that white jacket. I own the VTS figures and am very happy I’ve got them. Too many people were waiting for this and missed out completely. On another note I do love seeing this thread bumped from time to time though. It’s fun to see this many years later there’s still some hopefuls.

This. They’ve consistently kept stalling and delaying without giving us any proof it’s actually being worked on. And now only complete radiosilence. Limtoys has released multiple figures that were announced much later than this one clearly showing us that this figure is not their priority.

This figure is a financial disaster for Lim because of the factory issues and covid making it not profitable anymore. So what do they do? They just keep pushing their shiny new profitable projects and delay Connor indefinitely.

I would be very surprised if this figure ever makes it out of production hell. And to all the Limtoys cultists here, I’ll gladly be proven wrong. I hope for everyone’s sake I’m wrong and that one day we’ll have a fantastic figure in our hands. But something tells me I’m right.

Going on 2+ years without a substantial update. Yeah.. keep dreaming boys. This figure is done for

The sad thing is, all they have to do is give us a teaser or release something and everyone will already have long forgotten about Connor because that’s just how good the quality of their products are.


How to handle worried customers:
a. Inform them what’s going on
b. Provide photographic evidence of any production
c. Apologise and give a valid reason for the delay
d. Cut your customers off from making any contact with you to avoid taking any sort of responsibility whatsoever

I just want to know if Connor has been cancelled or not. So I can request my full refund back. Would be nice to get some kind of update instead of leaving us in the dark.

I think Lim took the updates the wrong way, the "frustration" for both parties was due to all of the upcoming releases and their delays (which isnt a big deal, as pre orders for those arent even available yet. Avoiding giving updates on a figure that is close to 5 years out is just a big no no, people have fully paid this figure off and deserve to have an update, no matter what it is.

I personally do think this figure will be made, but its a matter of when. I love LIM and everything they put out, but its genuinely hard to root for them when this is what we get.

I don't even have this figure on PO, and I haven't even played the game entirely through, I just watch this thread to get an idea of what were working with when it comes to LIM products.

It’s not cancelled, cancelling would make absolutely no sense anyway, but if you hate the wait then go get your refund. There’ll be some extras when it comes out if you decide you need it.

Having to start in a new factory definitely set them back, having to start from scratch and pay for brand new moulds set them back considerably.

I didn’t say I hate wait. I said it would be nice to have an actual update on Connor. Whether they’re still working on the figure or if don’t want to continue the figure. It won’t be the first figure to get cancelled licensed or unlicensed. Yes, I know they had issues and Covid and what not. Plus, it’s been over 4 years now, we’ve waited long enough.

If I had this on PO, I'd definitely be upset with the company. They really should update people on this.

I have their Quiet and Arthur figures and I have Connor, Drake and John on preorder but the fact that all my current preorders are from new figures announced yet Connor is still on my preorder list is kinda crazy, lol.

Sorry I was speaking generally, others seem to hate the waiting.

There was an update 2 months ago.

“Yes, LIM is still up and running, everything else is lies.

Priority is being given to older products still on pre-order, production on the most recent products is going well too.”

They’d resumed production of the Investigator just over 2 years ago from what I read, incredibly frustrating for them to have 2-3 years of progress (and thousands and thousands of $) wasted having to restart because the old factories were making such substandard work.

You'd think after 5 years they'd at least share some production photos for those who have money invested.
