Here's to (slightly) hoping the exclusive Rogue shows up on Mondo's site again due to order cancellations. But also just as happy if that version remains sold out so that I can stay out of the X-Men line altogether.
Ooh, I do wish they had done more with the musical planet, but studios are afraid of musical numbers, so not terribly surprising that was shorter.
And that reminds me that I need to give the disc a watch sometime soon so I can check out the deleted scenes (and experience it in 3D again).
With Zurdo popping back up in the forum, I was wondering when we'd see a thread bump for The Marvels :lol
Kinda sad to see HT do nothing with this movie though (I don't even think there were any cosbabies). It didn't do well at the box office, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Looking sharp! Agreed that the snow suit sculpt has a stronger likeness than the black suit sculpt- I briefly considered a similar mod but couldn't get past the sculpted hair and how it looks like a plastic blob. :huh
I have been considering getting a rooted head sculpt for my black suit...
While that's true for their posters and some of their vinyl releases, the timed exclusives are available for preorder for a set period of time (the timed exclusives for both Phantasm and Bane were/are available for 6 days). The final production numbers are based on the preorders received, so...
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the final Catwoman pose they chose (it's not bad, but not amazing either), but if they do the evening gown for the second statue... I can't resist that (the masquerade ball scene is one of my favorite Batman movie moments). Mousy office Selena is probably gonna be...
Love her NA outfit at the end of AoU! I go back and forth between that and her Wandavision outfit (no cape) as my favorite- one's the superhero look, and the other is the comic book witch look. Agreed on not being a fan of her CW/EG outfit though.
Agreed on the CW sculpt having the best likeness (though I still like the A1 sculpt the most). Interestingly enough, the IW sculpt was based on the CW one, but it wasn't painted the same way and lost some of the likeness (the platinum blonde hair didn't help).
I'm in a similar boat. I don't think I would have gone very deep into the line, but Rogue and Gambit were tempting enough to get me to dip my toes in. With the exclusive Rogue and regular Gambit both sold out on Mondo's site, I'm basically sitting it out now (unless they hit retail prices on...
I'm fine with unlicensed figures, but the S-Hero figures don't quite appeal to me (though I do admit they look to be done well). It's silly, but I can't get past a fabric costume for a character with an animated head sculpt. My 1/6 figure collection is focused on live action characters, so I...
Joker and Harley both turned out great from what I've seen, I just don't feel a need to own 1/6 scale versions of them. Phantasm was a different story (had to get Andrea) and will be lonely without a Batman or Joker, so we'll see. Maybe I'll finally pick up a Batman one of these days...
I sold my Freeze because I didn't trust the rubber joint covers to last for very long. Great shelf presence though, so part of me does miss it. But I never had plans to go deep with this line (not that I knew how deep Mondo would go), and even looking at the release list so far, the only other...
My cart ran into an error during check out, then the Rogue EX was sold out by the time I got back in. Not interested in the regular version, so I'll just sit out the whole line after all. Disappointed, but my bank account is grateful....
Ugh, I really wanted to stay out of the 1/6 animated line, but I think I'm picking up Gambit and Rogue tomorrow... That Rogue EX looks like it would be all kinds of fun to pose given the different head sculpts, and at least the regular Gambit comes with the card effect swap out hands, so...
