I made a mounting plate for the motor, to drive the supercharger belt. Motor attached. I will build the gearbox casing around the motor to hide it. Kick it in the guts, Barry!

Making the bonnet hinges. Adding detail to the underside of the hood. Hinges glued into place. The tape is to maintain a consistent panel gap.

Making the iconic hood scoop. I started with the base and the lower part of the scoop. The top part is shaped them glued into place. After much tidying up, it's fitted to the block. There are still a few pipes to add to the base.

Finished making the seat. Making the fuel tank. I started by making the basic shape, then adding strips to create the ridges. I will make it detachable to hide the battery bank.

Roll cage made and fitted. Did a bit more work to the rear wheels. Started making the frame for the jump seat. I've used square brass rod inside for strength.

Added the rear interior panels and cross bracing. Next step is the roll cage. Exterior door handles made. These will be functional.

I managed to get it resolved eventually. My PO was indeed cancelled, so he sent me a direct link to the invoice, which i paid straight away. I've never had any issues like this before, so hopefully it was just a one off glitch. I got the figure 2 days ago. (y)
