I've never owned a 1/6 scale Boromir for that reason, definitely top of my wanted list for the Fellowship. However, an IA Legolas at the level of accurary of their Aragorn is still a very close second for me.
Yeah that's true, and the precedent HT set with Tony Stank couldn't be applied here since they simply reused the MK50 headsculpt as the replacement. This is their first Mace so they'd have had to start from scratch to get it right which they were never gonna do.
Saying that something is the "worst thing ever" is either hyperbole or it's just a purely subjective claim given there are many ways to judge how good or bad a figure is of which head sculpt accuracy is just one factor.
However, that doesn't mean that pointing out a lack of head sculpt accuracy...
Wow that sold out quick, I literally ordered mine yesterday... might be best to wait and see if gundamit gets more stock because the only other retailer selling for a reasonable price is TW which I wouldn't recommend.
The chainmail does look a bit ridiculous, I think I'll just remove it entirely even if I can't find a decent replacement, the figure will still look great and for the price I can't complain, I was thinking I'd be forking out at least $500 + shipping for a Sauron.
They also seem to have fixed...
Yup SugoToys has him up for preorder, I'm getting mine for about $235 shipped, could be a bit more expensive though if you don't live in Australia or New Zealand.
Same here, its part of the experience handling real metal weapons and accessories because it adds to the illusion that I'm actually handling a scaled down Joker. Material choices do matter as they enhance the experience and maybe silicone will enhance the experience for JND's release so credit...
Seems that what matters to many collectors is determined by what they're committing to purchase rather than what they decided in advance truly matters.
JND potentially not having diecast weapons and accessories, no problem. Should we conclude that the lack of diecast is not an issue as long as...
That's hyperbole. Is there even one innovation JND has incorporated that was thought to be impossible by most collectors? Maybe magnetic eyes but that's about whether it can work properly and jury is out until collectors have it in hand just like InArts problematic magnetic base
You could start by being honest before going on a rant about ppl who bought the $1000 two pack. You know the JND two pack isn't $1200 anywhere but hey don't let the facts get in the way of your fiction bro.
Also try comparing apples with apples if you're gonna bring up HT.
I'm seeing ppl agonize over whether to keep their InArt 2 packs or Artisan POs and I'm just glad I can confidently say I'm just keeping my single pack sculpted InArt for now lol
I had a brief moment when I considered the JND A-Type but honestly that sculpt just isn't doing it for me. Maybe...
Justin has put his review up and done a comparison with the original. I really do love the look of the 2.0 but it just confirms why I'm keeping my 1.0 for the display, the 2.0 is just a bit too metallic and shiny unfortunately. Also that bat symbol visibility issue is just weird.
