Of course it's recycling. Old wayne sculpt repainted... The dx12 with alt face plates. The toys legend armory slightly tweaked.

I wish I could just buy the Alfred and Wayne on their own.

I always thought it was a pretty good sculpt. If the paint apps do their job, it should look pretty good. It's not on the level of others out there, but it's a solid likeness.

Why not? It had the glock, machine gun, cards, money and knife that were in all the previous Joker sets.

You really think Hot Toys will really pass up another opportunity to put out a "new" regular purple Joker (clown shape according to their Engrish)? This "new" DX 12 Batmab release only a year later says other wise.

I expect a new DX 3.0 Regular clown Joker with some "new" gimmick that will make collectors piss themselves and throw down $300+ on a doll they already half own. Count on it.

Maybe a Bank Robber 2.0 with clean makeup? I might go for that...not sure about a Nurse Joker. Also, is there a chance that the "clown shape" might be another Nicholson Joker? Maybe Romero Joker?

I don't know what it is, but this Batman sculpt looks way better than the DX12, maybe its the faceplates. I hated the head on the DX12 so much I sold it. I might pick this set up though, it is really impressive.

It is the faceplates. Those seem to be the only things that are different.

Me too. I love the Armory, but I would be content with just those two guys. More so for Alfred than Bruce since I already have one bashed. I might just look for a loose Alfred.

You could probably make a good deal of your money back parting out the pieces you don't want or need.

Still no SSC PO?

Secret Base VIPs are getting the pre-order today. They said the rest will get them December 29. If it is safe to assume HT will start the pre-order first in their home country, then I would think SSC will start theirs at the same time or afterwards. But who knows...

cowl looks improved from dx 12 to me too. is the neck shortened though? cant really tell. the bruce wayne sculpt still cant beat the toyfair's begins. this the best still:

and i dont understand the greying of the hair. bruce's hair is black/brownish in all 3 films. but these recent sculpts make him looks like his energy has been drained by magneto's mutant machine or something. the grey eyebrows are too much. so why not just re-release the begins's bruce sculpt instead of giving us a new but inferior version? if it aint broke...

first of all the first bruce sculpt looks nothing like bale. second there is no grey what so ever on the new sculpt, its called lighting. ITs all black as for the first sculpt is more brownish black.

Wayne has multiple suits in TDK. Kato did the blue 3 piece pin stripe one.

Right, HT & Kato tackled the same suit (the one worn from the new "Bat Cave" to the press conference where Dent takes the fall; HT gave Alfred the corresponding outfit); but if it is blue, even in that pic it appears black. I feel that it looks black on Blu Ray as well but as I said, I've seen some Google images where it does look blue. Those could be tricky though because the saturation tends to vary from image to image. I think how it appears on screen/Blu Ray is the best reference point for accuracy

Prices in Europe are not that bad. 500 for the biggest set. 430 without Bruce and 330 for the cheapest.
