Do you think if you dyed the pants maybe in a green wash quickly, it would change the pink color to a more accurate look?

I'm thinking how I could fix those pants -- and painting each square just isn't an option. But maybe by adding green dye, it will make the pink go green, while making the purple and blue darker at the same time.

Been thinking about that too. Ask Josh or Les I guess...

Been working on my '89 Batman display this morning. I built this little enclosed display case witha plexi glass front months ago but never bothered to put anything in it til now.

Great display, Coco!!!

I must say, whatever problems, Batman and the Joker just look so awesome together. I can't wait for my own.

Coco, which Batman is that? Rojas or Sovereign?

Looks awesome Coco, are those the old trading cards behind them? I think I still have a set of them somewhere.

Thanks Wor-Gar and Gboy! That is a Rojas Batman that I bought from Alex a few years ago and ,yes, those are the old trading cards behind them.
I have tons of them and I'm buying more off ebay. As soon as I build my floor to cieling 1/6th display cabinet I'm gonna go nuts with them on one shelf and have it dedicated to all things 1989 Batman.

I thought that looked like a Rojas. For Pjam's sake, how do you like the Rojas? Also, what's the cape made out of? Sovereign uses a very thin pleather -- almost like very thin plastic -- but I've seen some Batmans that use a thicker buttery pleather that actually hangs better.

Nice Coco. Does the neck articulate on that? I started the Keaton thread because I may want to commission Alex to do that piece but with the modded articulated neck but I'm not sure how that cowl piece will look on it. Seems to look a bit loose.

Any thoughts on that? :blackbat

ps: Posted your Rojas on the Keaton thread.

Yes, mine has neck articulation but when you turn his head the whole cowl moves. So if you want him looking a little to the left or right then the bat symbol gets moved off center like in the picture.

The cape is the pleather and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's of course a bit stiffer than fabric and it's takes a little persuasion in the form of pinching some creases in it to hang closer to the body but it looks awesome.

Other than a slightly sub par paint aps on the face and especially the bat symbol on mine (I repainted it a brighter yellow) and the figure being slightly on the small side (but so was Keaton :D) my biggest gripe about him is the belt. It looks nothing like the one on his web site and has an incredibly cheap look to it in person. The head sculpt however is the best out there IMHO.

I haven't seen the sovereign Bats in person but just judging from the pictures I like Rojas' Batman better, especially the length of the cape and head sculpt.

I'd definitely be interested in one :rock

Keaton Bats has been a grail of mine for a looong time... Even more so than a Reeve Superman :google

Seeing as I'll soon have the Joker, I might as well put my hand up for one. How many buyers do we need to get a bulk order discount? One of those things that can be hard to organise. Who is willing to suffer a headache? It would probably be better if the seller posted, on here, for orders, and how many would be needed to make it worth his while. Then we could deal direct.

I luv this hub-bub. Keaton Batman has moved from the long list to the short list. I mean, Keaton's from the burgh--so I'm gettin' in line! He actually went to my rival h.s.

Seems that the Keaton Batman has taken over the interest at the moment while everyone tries to get a Batman for their Joker...

But has anyone received an update on the v2 Joker yet? Still no pictures of the new design?

Just trying to keep this thread alive too.
