PC Help: Dual Monitors Crashing

I've ran dual monitors on my PC for years. One is a 32 inch vizio tv connected by hdmi and the other is a 19 inch dell monitor connected by vga. Recently the tv detached for some thanksgiving day gaming and nothing has been the same since. The computer will sometimes have trouble starting. As in I hear the sound of it starting up but will have no picture until minutes later. When the second monitor is connected the fan attached to the mother board increases in speed until the computer crashes.

I'm usually decent at figuring these things out but not this time. Is the graphics card dying?
