Finally got back to Gene today after a few days off , thanks to work and 1/1 stuff keeping me occupied . Sculpted the boot/foot with Milliput and after a bit of head scratching about how to do the "leather" section of the boots , it occured to me that I could use a pair of 1/6 leather trousers I had handy .
Here's how it worked out .

Now I'll have to do another to match !

Got around to finishing off the other boot . While working on the feet/boots , it occurred to me to fit magnets as the precarious nature of Gene's stack heels , combined with the Buck's wobbly hip joints , make The Demon less than stable ! I then attached a metal "plate" ( actually the lid from a biscuit tin ) to a display base .

After a little tidying up , the piece will work as a temporary display base , because ultimately I intend to build one with lights and sound . I've also swapped out the wings , ( again!) as I found some much better material and added some stud detail closer to the real thing .

I still need to add some stud detail to the shoulder "wings" , lace detail to the wristbands and finish up the bass . The last job will be to finish the paint job on the face ( the eyes are very basic ) and complete the hair (I'm waiting to pick up more of the material I used ) .

Thanks , I've not gotten around to finishing Gene as I'm looking for a few little details and I got a bit distracted with a base/diorama .
