Got the mid-beard from onesixthkit today, very pleasantly surprised! I didn't think it'd show up this fast! I have to say, the quality is stunning. The detailing of the paint, with the moles, and the sculpting of the forehead wrinkles; amazing.

Likeness is close enough for government work. Gotta admit, the detailing in the paint and wrinkles is amazing. No way the final product will be that good. We need a new Obama sculpt so I can do the "Hope Never Dies: An Obama Biden Mystery" novel cover. Never read it, but I love the pulpy cover.

Went to PO this, and it looks like he's getting a little hard to find. Definitely less quality than LIM's, which I PO'd back in 2019, but I wanted this one for parts. Ridiculous that it costs more, too.

I got an email from Prime1 on Thursday, saying Ash will be shipping within the next 1-4 weeks. Unfortunately, "due to Covid", the shipping skyrocketed. Originally, back in April of '19, I PO'd for an estimated $395 shipping, which is already a hefty amount, but as this is my first and only 1/3...

Well, if history is any indication, they'll do a wide release of Nedry sometime next June/July, like they're doing with last year's Hammond. If they've gone to the trouble of tooling a whole new body and sculpt, they're not just going to use it once for a comic con exclusive and call it a day...
