    GI JOE 30th Anniversary

Re: GI JOE 25th Anniversary I am old enough to have had the "original 12" action figure" GI Joe. We who have owned that product find the GI Joe lines that came after were, well, GUNK! If SS does a special military series I'm in. SS and others have thrived because of the lack of detail to the...

    NO military/historical figures from SideShow

Amen again. SS started a great trend. Does anyone remember the Toyfair unveiling of Live By The Sword and others? Only a few of those wonderful figures were produced. Sometimes Toyfair is not a gage when it comes to SS. Haven't seen anymore from Fife and Drum either.

    NO military/historical figures from SideShow

It's true Brent. The less they produce we'll just move on. It's too bad. I just think Napoleon was not the right figure to start out with. I like it alot but, I'm probably like most historic collectos in saying I was waiting for the next historic figure. I too hoped for Napolean to be sold out...

    NO military/historical figures from SideShow

The Latest Toy Show! Good and bad. The good. This year I save a boatload of cash by not purchasing a new SS product. The bad news is no interesting SS figure to collect. Last year or should I say this year I bought a token John Wayne PF figure. Would rather have a 1/4 scale washington. I think...

    1/4 scale military. Any interest?

I'm with "Doomhammer" If you make them "we" will come. If I were sideshow I would poll the military folks first. I don't know why Napoleon didn't sell I believe Washington or Lincoln and some Civil War generals and Romans. The 1/4 scale Geman officer would have sold out. NO doubt. How do I know...

    Dragon "dolls"

    1/6 Scale Horse

Guys I can custom paint and custom hair Johnny West horses blind folded (I'm in the arts). The problem still remains, the size. It's just not big enough and yes the Dragon horses are, well, nearly Clydesdale size. Just too big. The one I purchased was a complete ebay surprise. It usually goes...

    Dragon "dolls"

I have found that the SS figure Gen Lee is superior and that the Dragon uniform Gen Lee is superior. Even kit bashed and dyed uniform fo SS Grant. I'm still waiting for a superior US Grant likeness.

    1/6 Scale Horse

I feel migwits pain. I've been looking for a long time for a nice 1/6 horse (for a reasponable price). I did find one, by complete accident. On ebay. Take a look at the pics. It is a work of art. Shipped from Mexico. I got it for a steal 100 bucks (not including shipping). No kidding. I took a...

How about 1/4 scale ACW & WWI

Patton, that's one head sculpt Dragon got wrong and they'r multi-purposing that one. Actually Hasbros headsculpt of Patton was pretty well done.

    Legendary Musicians

Now the Beatles are truely legendary. Kiss, I agree that they are a mere freakshow. Please, put that rodent tongue away and go a way, far away. Their 15 minutes are long up. Did that sound bitter. I didn't mean for it to sound bitter. Give use REAL legends please.

    George Washington review

Great review Michael. Right on the money. It is a great figure with wonderful attention to detail. My favority historic figure. The head sculpt is world class. I hope SS makes more on both sides. Can't wait for a british officer. Mark

How about 1/4 scale ACW & WWI

I believe Washington would have been a better choice. I hope SS doesn't give up 1/4 scale on military figures. I believe a figure like Caesar in full Roman military regalia would have been a huge hit. Napoleon Bonaparte is a figure that summons divided emotions. A great military leader to be...

Two New R. Lee Ermey figures announced!

I am disappointed that SS chose to showcase these two "new" figures during the Toyfair. That is not to say they are not great figures and the clothing an headsculpt are great. They are. I believe that I'm not alone in saying that we military/historical collectors are getting marginalized by...
