JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

I'm not sure why, but you seem to be taking my general statements personally. As I've predicted in my posts, it won't lead to anything positive, as these types of exchange rarely do. I don't begrudge you feeling disappointed, and I don't begrudge your negative opinions on this piece. If I was a...

JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

Well, it depends on what you want to achieve. If you're disappointed, you let your opinion be known, you withhold you financial support - what more do you want to do by returning again and again to repeat the same opinions? Why waste your time? Why not spend your time focusing on a product you...

JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

When an artist produces a piece of work, or when a company releases a piece - we have to assume that what they put out is a representation of that artist / company "putting their best foot forward". As we know, this is a business, and those companies know that if the piece is below par it won't...

JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

I agree with your points, I don't believe that it's fair to make such dramatic changes which are forced onto customers, with no "opt out" clause in the pre-order contract.... That said - and to give JND some credit, almost every release - you read online, either on Facebook or on the forums...

JND Studios: Superman (Christopher Reeve) 1:3

On these forums, everyone takes it upon themselves to offer an opinion. I think the issues start when the same people visit multiple times to hammer home their negative opinions. Those same people tend to complain if they're challenged. I will never understand certain people who enter threads...

    Shumi Arts: 1:6 Billie Eilish

I'd be shocked, and amazed if 1/6 returns to military. If it did, the customer base would decline - rapidly. Too many people have been suckling at the breast of corporate intellectual property for so long now, many "collectors" would shrivel up and combust at the thought of buying Navy Seals and...

    Shumi Arts: 1:6 Billie Eilish

I wonder, is this what figure collecting looks like post Marvel, D.C, Star Wars? For some reason, I'm just not enthusiastic about buying figures (action figures or statues) related to musicians or artists....now,give me a runway model line, of female athletes - then I could get on board.

    Prime 1 / Shumi Arts - M3GAN - 1/3 Statue

This character would be tiny in 1/6, surely.....would it really be that desirable in such a small scale.

    Prime 1 / Shumi Arts - M3GAN - 1/3 Statue

Man, I might need to break my rule. This looks really good....

    Prime 1 / Shumi Arts - M3GAN - 1/3 Statue

I like the concept, but I can't bring myself to buy statues of children - even if it is "horror". Great concept though, and once again.....proving that "hyper realism" does not necessarily equal silicone.

    DarkSide Collectibles : Batman Returns - Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) 1:4 & 1:3

I might pick this version up, when it goes on discount. It could be an interesting project for a repaint and the addition of "real" hair.

JND Studios 1/3 1992 Batman Returns Catwoman

I think the non costume versions really add something....at the very least, it offers JND an opportunity to distinguish their vision from the other companies. Like many have said, it's unlikely others will explore those aspects of characters - so you're really buying something unique.

JND Studios 1/3 1992 Batman Returns Catwoman

There's nothing to discuss. You brought together a collage of photos as a comparison, which compares Apple's with Orange's - I'm just spitting facts. If you want to do a real comparison, either you wait until ALL are available as in-hand items, or you find a professional level photo of the...

JND Studios 1/3 1992 Batman Returns Catwoman

It's clear to me that the Blitzway piece photo is in the worst possible lighting. Not to mention, our friend is comparing an amateur photographers in-hand photo to professional photos of prototype pieces...... This is why you can't trust anything you see on the web....too many hidden agendas...

JND Studios 1/3 1992 Batman Returns Catwoman

I'm one of those "rare" collectors who values JND's realism over being 100% accurate to the actor/actress. However, I'm also acutely aware that, that is not what's being marketed or advertised - and I think JND is doing a disservice to both themselves and their customers by hyping themselves up...

JND Studios - Justice League Superman

I'd suggest you are indeed correct to cancel. I don't write that suggestion because I necessarily agree with your points, but simply due to the fact that you're not convinced by the piece. That said, I think this has turned out extremely well. I mean, if you were convinced by the prototype...

JND Studios - Justice League Superman

Yeah, that's a lot of money to spend on a piece that you're not sure about. For what it's worth, I believe this is certainly one of the best Henry Cavil Superman pieces out there, alongside Queen Studios 1/3 Black Suit version.....that said, let's be real about this, these pieces are going to...

JND Studios - Justice League Superman

Maybe I'm wrong, but that new "hair" looks sculpted to me....I wonder if this is a new direction for JND, as they've already set the precedent on their 1/6 Bruce Wayne (which I thought, at the time, was an awkward backwards step!) - maybe they were getting us ready to accept this revised design...

JND: Justice League Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) Platinum 1:3

So true....all of it, but people are having a hard time coming to terms with this new reality, and I think it's going to take a little longer for the penny to really drop. I believe, what we're seeing now, is just the beginning of the down turn. I think, one of the biggest factors to hurt...
