sold my tweeterhead statues and HT figures a while ago as they weren't flawless either so this might be the next best thing

conflicted on whether I should get these or wait for a potential Hot Toys re-release (or maybe Inart getting their hands on the license) in the future but that might be unrealistic. only thing that bugs me about Robin is the way his mask is painted as it looks a bit too leathery to me at least...

I also don't like how the pants look which seems to be a common issue with these companies to translate them well onto toy format. I'm at a point where the quality of the head sculpt no longer matters to me if body proportions and clothes are off.

my guess is P1 is very confident in having an amazing sculpt plus a more detailed suit than DSC so the idea is crushing/annoying the competition by taking their design concept and tweaking it a little bit so no one will go with DSC in the end just bc they like their pose better.

Sideshow should be ashamed of themselves. I saw many ppl on social media pointing out to them how ridiculous the pose is when the prototype was shown but ofc they wouldn't even consider making changes.

no worries, everyone knows that Bale looked slightly different in different shots depending on light and angle. then again, the eye area on this piece is always off regardless of comparison pic or angle (SS did a better job in that respect) which is significant enough for me to not consider it...
