InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Thanks for the advice, mate. Yeah, first time with VR of any kind. I bought Tales From The Galaxy's Edge, and I've been having a great time using the teleport style controls over the weekend. Tried the regular controls yesterday for the first time for about 20 minutes, and my god it was rough...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

Toys Buying Agent had a couple of these last week. Think it was pushing £600 when all was said and done, so I thought better of it. I decided to use the money to get a PSVR2 instead. Turns out it was a poor choice. I've just paid £509 for the privilege of making myself nauseous.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I have actually told my wife that I've already bought a double plot in the cemetery so that we can be together for eternity. I just haven't told her precisely what I mean by 'we.'

As long as this shows up before I die, I don't mind a little extra waiting.

Reasonable price for Asmus Fellowship collection?

Yeah I still get 80% off every 3 or 4 weeks, although the less I sell, the less offers they send me. Just after Christmas I sold 95% of my Hot Toys Star Wars collection using it. I think I was offered 70% off once, but didn't have anything to sell at the time. I just miss the old £1 selling...

Reasonable price for Asmus Fellowship collection?

I'd personally wait for eBay 80% off selling fees and put them up for auction. I know some people hate eBay, but it has by far the widest reach. You can always put a reserve price on the listing so you don't accidentally lose everything for a pittance. Some of those figures are seldom seen on...

Hot Toys Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - Spider-Man: No Way Home

The majority who criticised this release aren't being toxic, and especially not on this forum. Very fair criticisms being put forward for what is a £250 doll. I hate that 'toxic' is thrown around so liberally these days whenever people aren't massively positive on something. It's just people...

Hot Toys Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - Spider-Man: No Way Home

Yeah I'm not a fan of that neck. Just looks too thick for Raimi Spider-Man.

Hot Toys Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - Spider-Man: No Way Home

Is it really that hard for a multi million dollar company to just stick the bloody eyes on straight on one of their ridiculously overpriced figures? Mine ended up OK, but the whole situation with this figure is just an absolute farce. If this Inart Aragorn shows up even 50% as good as the...

Hot Toys Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - Spider-Man: No Way Home

So I bought the regular release from Toys Buying Agent (who is fantastic, btw), and it's apparently the newer batch with corrected eye placement. It actually looks decent on the shelf, although I have positioned it facing to the side, because DAMN that stitch on the forehead looks like arse...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

I've just purged my Star Wars Hot Toys collection. Sold 16 so far, few more to go. I think I'm just bored of them, to be honest. Already sold off my prequel and Mando figures a year or so ago. I've kept a Luke (one of 9 that I had, ridiculous), a Vader and R2. All I have left are some Lord Of...

1/6 Hot Toys- MMS631 - Spider-Man: No Way Home - Green Goblin Collectible Figure

I can't really get any more dynamic than this with the pose. It does look better in person than on camera, I just can't seem to capture the pose properly on my phone. Agree that he looks ridiculously cool, though. @lordnastrond, using the Mysterio smoke effects, excellent idea!

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

Come on fellas, we're all on the same collecting side here. Some people care about the pattern on the trousers, some don't. Surely somebody has some cool pictures of their Gandalf to share so we can move beyond trousergate?

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

I'm not sure I've seen many claiming it's better than Inart, but it's definitely a welcome step up from what Asmus offered before.

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

Yeah it sits fine on mine. I've noticed the long looking neck in some pics as well. Maybe they need pushing down a bit more. Could also be the camera settings. Everything looks weird if your phone is set to 'wide'.

    Asmus Toys: Boromir

Best bet to start with would be to contact Asmus. They've sent you a broken product, so they really should be replacing it for you without any hassle. You could try taking everything off to see if it's just popped out, but you then risk damaging the clothing as well.

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

The guy isn't trying to convince anyone that they should share his opinion, and he isn't trying to spoil anyone's fun. He's just sharing his view on things. This figure looks absolutely phenomenal, but I also chose to go with the Asmus head upgrade. In fact, I cancelled my pre order for this...

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

Yeah, I think if they'd done something with the eyebrows, it would have finished it off nicely. Still, it's good enough for me that I'm no longer embarrassed to show his face, and also good enough that I'm content with my previous decision to cancel my Inart Gandalf to save some pennies.

Asmus Toys Lord of the Ring Gandalf Gray

Mine arrived this morning. I must say, it's a massive improvement on the original head. Now I don't have to have him stood in the corner, head bowed and hat lowered in embarrassment! Also came with another new plastic hat and a small Frodo figurine. Forgive the rubbish photo.
