    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

But would you really want the main reference for long term canon to be a gestural/ smudgy painting? I mean its to the point that, despite these both being key art from the same game, they both feature completely different masks. The inconsistency across versions is due to most of them using...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

I did an edit to the mask in Photoshop to make it as accurate to KOTOR as possible. Essentially, Visor made thinner, added the additonal missing details / fixed the incorrect details, added some slightly coppery scratches, and added some texture/weathering to the silver part of the faceplate...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

The most important issue clearly is, outside of the giant fat visor, the Hot Toys depiction just isn't detailed enough. Every other depiction outside of cartoony ones has it with more panels, more texture and a more complex paint job all around. A another issue with the HT mask is the use of...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

Yeah fair enough, I think I just have more of a sometimes dead is better feeling when it comes to this game. I'd rather not endure the potential remakes failures regardless of whether the original still exists hahah. As far as the figure goesI just hope that, if they don't make alterations to...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

I wouldn't argue that Resident Evil 4 is a good comparison point though in regards to there being space to expand the motivation of a character (although I do agree that was an improvement given that Luis was killed off super abruptly in the original RE4). Every character in KOTOR has an...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

I don't know, specifically relating to story I don't think it's the case for pretty much every remake. Dead Space is considered a good remake, and yet they made significant changes to the story which made it worse (More story isn't a better story, and it ends up negating a lot of the mystery...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

Yeah I'd genuinely prefer the game to be cancelled. I don't want amateur developers going through the game with a fine tooth comb finding things that they now don't approve of or want to change, and hell, I don't want new voice actors either. Fundamentally KOTOR is about its story and...

1/6 Hot Toys Stormtroopers Deluxe Version MMS514/515

I get triggered looking at the modern, post Rogue 1 Stormtrooper helmets more than anything. I ended up selling all my Rogue 1 Stormtroopers because their helmets were so flattened (plus they also seemed far less posable than other Stormtroopers like the Jump Trooper).

Damn, cancelled my pre-order at Sideshow for Popcultcha. Managed to save around 60 USD before even using vouchers ( I live in NZ so the tax+shipping is brutal).

I don't know, imagine a Darth Malak with the detachable mouth plate as a feature.

Malak and Bastila first, Nihilis, Kreia, Sion second. I'd also take a Canderous Ordo hahah.

Someone else will have to do it before me hahah, I'm a long way away from receiving mine from Popcultcha sadly.

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

Fair, but I guess at that point it's a different argument. Disney has approved (and continue to approve) a lot of inaccurate design changes or flaws in other figures, and have also made changes to established designs that weren't accurate to canon too. It's just a shame because the...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

It is the canon version within the framework/idea of Revan though. The origin and entire fandom of his character comes from this source. I guess I mean to say that no other depiction of him takes primacy over that original game. That includes the dual wielded lightsabers.

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

Like it or not, it's the only canon reference point though, everything else is artistic interpretation. That "ps2" (Xbox 1) screenshot also looks good outside of its low poly nature. Its design is good, and again, the only thing that can be called truely canonical as far as depictions of...

    1/6 Hot Toys - VGM62/62B - StarWars Legends : Darth Revan

Hmm, man they kind of butchered the whole design: The colours are completely wrong/ more cartoony on this figure. His armour/ cloth is meant to be more desaturated, more bronze etc. plus the cloth material they used doesn't look right either. His cape is the thing that's meant to be...

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padmé Amidala

To thicken it out so it's silhouette relative to the head isn't so skinny. I just think it looks a tad undersized at the moment. I can't remember which figure it was, but you could stuff tissues/cotton into a neck peck area and make the neck a bit bigger as a result.

1/6 Hot Toys - Episode II: Attack of The Clones - Padmé Amidala

I'd imagine it's impossible to pad the neck out on this figure right?
