Received my InArt Gandalf a couple days ago from Kit. As @Gipetto0812 mentioned, clothes were stiff out-of-the-box. A fair amount of water spritzing relaxes the clothes enough to sculpt folds with precision. Overall, an exceptional figure!

@skizzoid - not as is, but doable. I’m sure with some effort, one could modify the rooted Play Toy hair scalp to fit the HT head and make it look more natural than the plastic mushroom top HT gave us.

I received my Gandalf the Grey replacement head on Friday and immediately took this unaltered image using natural lighting for comparison. A much welcomed improvement and completely worth the purchase for me. Though I would’ve preferred getting it this way in the first place. Very happy.

Can you confirm that the LEDs actually work? I was hesitant to connect to a battery in fear of shorting the diode.

@HAL9000. — however, could those markings indicate the polarity for the mini magnets to attach to the helmet??

@HAL9000. - Yes, both the positive and negative red markings were hand written in both head lamps. It seems with more effort, they could’ve mimicked the same contact assembly as with the backpack? Perhaps easier said than done.

I hope Aug Toys considers releasing the Paul Stillsuit release with two included head options – a normal and blue-eyed version. One could then use the Stillsuit normal head with disheveled hair look on the first Paul Atreides release as an optional look.

@glitch1044 — Thanks. Great idea using baking soda for the frost & snow effects for Lara’s clothing/boots! Especially for controlled detailing AND it’s not permanent!! I recall baking soda was used by ILM as part of their original snow recipe for the Empire Strikes Back Hoth stop-motion...

@Van_Damme — I designed the label art in Adobe Illustrator and printed a color laser copy. I then applied an adhesive acetate overlay on top and attached to the base with double-sided adhesive tape.

One of the highlights for me is displaying Lara with the ice cleats, but they kept slipping off the boot. I ended up placing a small bead of hot glue only at the center of each boot. It’s just enough to hold in position, but not so much to make it permanent.
