I think they used a deeper red on the prototype

cancelled it for the ceratosaurus instead

Arrived and tbh it's a wonderful sculpture, there's not a lot wrong with the paintwork either except they haven't weathered it all so it looks too clean so I'll be doing that and that should improve it a lot. Next to rebors utahraptor

I think $30 Is an insult I'd tell to replace or have it back for a refund, the problem with being so limited is they can't often be replaced, shame on sideshow's lack of quality control, I guess I've been lucky but im in the UK so there's even less models so just as well.

Can anyone recommend what paints to use for improvement of the sideshow Carnotaurus dinosaur, mainly weathering where sideshow didn't?

The more I see it the more I feel its not as bad as some seem to feel, certainly not like the prototype but nothing a little weathering couldn't fix, it's really not that bad imo but still a let down on sideshow's part, I would expect better. I've just bought one so I'll see what mines like when...

Both of these have had paintjob issues and was wondering if anyones done some adjustments to either of these and how they've done it?

i'm still debating on this one.The retailer i bought the stegosaurus from has this and was good enough to open the box and take a couple of pics, what do you guys think, £160 which is a good price, same for the carnotoaurus
