That sounds very strange. Definitely haven't had that with any of my Dinosauria pieces. Most department stores will sell little rubber pads you can stick on the bottom to fix it though. In related news, there's some familiar looking knockoffs on ebay right now... Paint scheme's kinda interesting.

Well, the paints kind of bad. It's not comically bad like the Carno Repaint and some others, but its definitely not good. It looks a bit like one of those Schleich toys, just a lot bigger. Sad, but Sideshow clearly doesn't care anymore. :huh
