Chronicle or the perfect Robocop line of statues ever and much more

I know, but the one used in the boardroom scene is the most complete and the one that I feel is the best representation of the character... coupled with the full sized prop, which also has the armor panels. Other puppets were missing the panels, had the arms reversed (the one used in Robocop 2)...

Chronicle or the perfect Robocop line of statues ever and much more

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if Tippet Studio is in possession of the complete version of the ED-209 puppet. As far as I can tell the prototype is missing the collapsible armor panels at the bottom of the leg and on the toes.

Hot Toys – MMS202D04 - 1/6th scale RoboCop Collectible Figure

Oh man, if I could afford it, I would. I prefer the look of the HT Robocop though and I also want to get the one with the Weller head sculpt when that comes out. The EB figure is pretty nice looking though. Cool pic.

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

This is kind of a difficult pose to replicate. Maybe it's just me/ mine, but the "knee" joints don't hold the weight of the figure in their highest position. Also, there doesn't seem to be enough articulation in the "ankle" joints to be able to get the legs further apart as they were in that...

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

There's no rattling sound in mine, that's pretty weird. As for the missile rack, it can be kinda fiddly. With mine the third missile only clears the guard if I keep the whole rack hugged up against the arm, if that makes sense. The legs are really hard to slide up and down on the rails...

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

Hmm, interesting. That would probably explain why on all the pictures I look at of the stop motion puppets there doesn't seem to be anything in that spot.

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

Haha, that's crazy! You're like a private detective of movie accuracy. If I had a company that produced movie accurate figures I would definitely look to this site as a form of free quality control. Especially seeing as the members of this site are the target demographic.

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

Damn, you work fast, haha. I haven't picked up a copy of the blu ray yet. Do you recall which scene you were able to see the red and black max psi decal most clearly on?

    Hot Toys – MMS204 - The 1/6th scale ED-209 Collectible

WOW! All the poring over pictures and videos this whole time didn't prepare me in the slightest for what I was actually getting. I'm completely blown away!

Anthrapoid, first of all I just have to say phenomenal job on all of your research and attention to detail! Second, I would be interested in getting those decals along with any sound files you have if I may. Are you going to include the decal on his elbow to replace that irritating upside-down...
