Ya, that's why got some request on 'refurbish' the mk 3. The color start to fade and even some paints crack.

Commission repaint. The original hot toys is without painting, and the red look so dull. So, i repaint it into metallic version with battle damage. Comments are welcome :lol Here is my facebook pages, with more photos...

I clean the paints before repaint, its definitely silver underneath the red. Mr. hobby clear is more opaque than gaia. That's why its less metallic.

Comparison of mr. hobby and gaia clear red. I just found out that mixing GX deep clear red with gaia clear red will have even closer color. Now i just need to test it out.

Tried with acrylic, can't remove the paints.
