Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Yep, you're right. There is nothing to see, it's just white plastic with a blue gradient. I wrote a quick review of my bust and uploaded two photos a few pages back which show the arc reactor as it is without the light on. I also wrote in the short review that the AR is the only real...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Just to let anyone who saw my earlier post about my faulty light feature on my bust, I've managed to get it working. Unbelievably :slap, I think it was something as simple as a small piece of polystyrene in the socket jack on the base as I put the hoover nozzle over it in case anything was...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Looks good but not enough difference for me to go to the effort of buffering and risking the polish damaging the bust.

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

This bust is identical to the prototype photos from which I decided to order two years ago. I don't believe any quality has been lost during the production stages and I definitely don't agree that Sideshow don't care about what the final product looks like. They're pretty much top of the table...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

I think money restraints since the little fella arrived will put pay to another LSF, especially the Mk7 suit now I have the bust. Still, it would be nice to have two either side of the tv :wink1:

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

It took 120 hours over 3 months. The house is big enough that I don't think we'll need to move for more space. If it did ever happen, I'll have to paint a Marvel Wall Mk2 :clap My main problem is finding the space for my collection. I don't want to over-crowd the room, I've got some pretty big...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

I watched a video on youtube once of some guys smashing up a MK3 bust. It was painful to watch something like that go to waste. I'll have to get my wife to do it. I'm sure she'll take more pleasure in doing it :lol

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Yeah, I know they'll try their best to resolve the issue. My main concern is the box is huge and it weighs so much. I've never once had a problem with products direct from Sideshow. Do they expect me to ship the bust back to them? I'll be hit with the initial import duty tax in the next few days...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Yes, I have the MkIII LSF and the MKVI PF along with other Avengers PFs and Hot Toys so my collection is growing nicely. I'm glad my photos have got you excited and will hopefully ease people's minds about the quality concerns as there's been (understandably) a lot of negativity about this bust...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Sorry naraki, I don't have the Mk3 bust to compare. It's a great piece and certainly my concerns about the paint job was unfounded. They obviously learnt from the problems they had with the mk3.

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

Thanks, I really am happy with the bust as a whole. I missed out on the Mk3 bust so was always going to go for this one. I think you're right that the silver pieces actually improve the look of the bust, had they been red it could have looked a little plain, although I do understand the argument...

Avengers Iron Man Mark VII Life Sized Bust

I received my Life Sized Bust yesterday. After waiting 2 years for this to be delivered, I couldn't believe the light up feature wasn't working. I've tried everything to get it going and have tried out several different plugs from other Sideshow figures and it still doesn't work. These plugs all...
