Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

It happens when you're left feeling like you have to defend feeling like you should have gotten better than you did - which given the cost of it is entirely reasonable. And I don't recall ever saying that it wasn't a case of 'lesson learned'. Furthermore do you even get how "Mr Bumble" (as in...

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

Yes it has. This wasn't a $30 die cast car - it was a $1000 1/6 scale replica. If I'm paying several hundred dollars for a collectible, I expect far more than I do from a $30 collectible. However even with a $30 collectible or electronic device, I'd still expect clear instructions so I could use...

    Go Hero ROCKETMAN 1/6

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who thought this figure was must have. At some point I'll display him, but my problem is wondering exactly which accessories to display him with.

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

While I'm glad to hear that the mystery has been solved for me in terms of the polarity of the power supply, I'm not happy that HT decided it was ok to have us play Russian roulette with a $1000 collectible. I was going to look at the SW figures and Millennium Falcon Cockpit Diorama, but tbh...

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

I'm still going to keep at Hot Toys on this regardless of the answer I get because every single DeLorean owner will need this information disseminated to them, but here's what the symbols for the polarity of a DC power supply look like: Any chance you could use that as a guide and let us know...

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

As per mod instructions, I'm continuing the discussion from this thread here. Just got off the phone to Sideshow. After speaking to reception in a calm but alarmed tone about the issue and the fact that it affected not only every single DeLorean they had sold but had in stock, I was initially...

The HT DeLorean production team are incompetent morons!

It's not the lack of knowledge that is the issue with the distributors here - it's the seeming lack of an "oh crap" moment when presented with the fact that everyone they have sold a DeLorean to has to essentially play Rusian Roulette with it when hooking up the power supply, has a significant...

The HT DeLorean production team are incompetent morons!

Short, short, version - Hot Toys implemented the mains power option in a manner which causes the owner of a DeLorean to essentially play Russian Roulette with their DeLorean and potentially completely destroy the lighting gimmick inside it.

The HT DeLorean production team are incompetent morons!

The retailer has done all they can and I don't blame them in the slightest. I do however blame the Australian distributor, Ikon, their supplier, Sideshow and the manufacturer, Hot Toys, for not only this gaffe happening, but for not seeming to care or recognise that essentially expecting someone...

The HT DeLorean production team are incompetent morons!

I realise that the title might initially seem a little bit strong, but as I'll show, it's entirely reasonable, given the serious flaw with the DeLorean that is smacks of such ignorance and such negligence that it borders on the bizarre. Let me start off by saying that HT's decision to give the...

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

Does anyone know of a cheap way to get a replacement set of eyes for a DX-09 with damaged eyes (ie cheap PERS head/face with the same eye colour)?

Quick question about the Hot toys Batmobile - Tumbler

Cheers for that. This is actually the loose panel in question (had to fiddle with the lighting to show up details so some of the colours have gone funny in it): and how clean the snap from the posts was/wasn't: If I did want to fix it myself and then sell it, do you reckon you'd need to do...

Quick question about the Hot toys Batmobile - Tumbler

Quick question of my own. Currently looking to offload my MMS69 to fund and make room for the upcoming Delorean and I'm trying to work out how to price mine. In a nutshell, it's been pulled out of the box maybe once or twice since I've had it, I've never tested the electronics and it's still...

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

The thing is though that as I said to the seller in the process of this, had they emailed Hot Toys and Hot Toys were unable to help, I'd have accepted it. Likewise as I also said, had they contacted their supplier and hit a dead end, likewise, I'd have accepted it. Unless I'm missing something...

WTB Hot Toys DX-09 head or DX-09 compatible PERS eyes

Need to source a replacement eye for my DX-09 Keaton Batman as the PERS system broke on one side. Not concerned whether the strut itself is a different colour (although the same colour would be ideal) but ideally looking for the same coloured eye. Will buy a replacement head if there's no other...

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

Thanks for the help. I can try returning it to the seller, but I get the feeling it'll be more trouble than it's worth. The seller was a complete ****** in response to me simply asking them to contact Hot Toys, fed me BS about the store they got it through, refused to even accept a refund and...

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

Cheers for the assist. Turns out all I had to do was give it a hard tug and the plate came out. Looks likte it's bad news - the left eye is broken at the connector to the joystick bridge. Does anyone know of someone who makes third party PERS eye struts?

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

Got him a couple of weeks ago, finally pulled him out of the box last night and the PERS system on him broke (not happy when I paid around $400 for him). I've seen people disassembling the PERS system to fix it and I'm able to unscrew the plate covering the joystick, but I'm not sure what I need...
