My guess is it is a faulty mold.. As for the chips on the neck, it is obviously because they did not let the paint dry enough before inserting it into the figure. I know this because when i pulled off one of the helms, I noticed that the neck was stuck to the body and it peeled when u pulled it...

Correction, Now I have opened 4 boxes and they all have the same defect on the back. They also ALL have air flaps that don't close. And 3 of them have a defect on the head helmet with chipped mouth of chipped neck or a combination of both.... Ridiculous really, the distributor said he cant...

How many of you guys with the iron man in hand have this chip on the back? I have opened 2 and they both have them... Also quite a few pics I have seen have them, so i am wondering if there are any MK IVs out there without this defect :/

I know this is from way back, but Hydeous, where'd you get these casings? they look awesome
