I would say that's extreme, but I definitely think there are major setbacks with the sculpt.

I'm liking the other one a lot though. I'm starting to feel good about going premium. Partially because I'm less impressed with the cowl, but also because that hair will add so much to photography, which is one of the biggest fun factors about this figure for me.

I think the cowl will also photograph well, because it can really shine with minimal tinkering. But I'm not expecting to love it in hand. I was always wanting to display the raccoon head anyway though, so it's bittersweet I guess. At least I'm glad I have options.
Options are great. This movie is not emotionally connected to me like Nolan trilogy. So i am settling with the standard.

Rooted heads are always awesome and for sure you will be able to enjoy futzing and taking photos. Waiting for all the cool pictures 🔥

Watched Jedha's review I'm happy with everything but the cape. Was hoping InArt would end the need for custom capes but alas, a proper drape cape will be needed. Cavill Superman coming with two capes is definitely the way to go. Fingers crossed Batfleck and Bale figures get the same deal.

The cowl might not be perfect but it still looks very good to me. Not sure how anyone can say it looks nothing like Pattinson.

I hate that companies can't or won't do proper draping capes. It's obviously the cheaper route, but I think a hefty draping cape is nicer than a floating wired cape, everything above 1/6 should have a hefty draping cape.

wow. That's ******

Props to Dean if that's true. Man of integrity. Not saying Jedha or Justin are not, but Dean gains some points for turning them down. That's a BS stipulation.
I am not sure why BigBreda didn’t review it. Might be the same reason too. Dean knight takes awesome pics. Hope he gets the inart one soon

Jedha sugar coated many of the things when considering Inart and Justin simply bashed HT straight away. Justin didn’t even say a single thing bad about Inart. The irony is that they didn’t stress on these negatives in their standalone HT review. Even you can see the comments in their YouTube video where people questioned about their opinion when it’s sponsored.

I still feel Planet 33 review is better than these 2.

The way Justin justified the batteries in the batsignal was enough to know it was a biased review

But to be honest, people would call this figure the best batman figure ever or even best figure ever if they are offered a 1000-1200 dollar worth figure for free.
Inart didn’t tell any of the reviews they aren’t allowed to say negative things. One person said that in aYouTube comment section and you take it as fact? Is this your first day on the internet? Even the YouTube comment you posted is jumping to that conclusion incorrectly. Jedha had negative things to say about the figure in his review. How is that possible if he signed something saying your not allowed to say anything negative? Do you think his contract said - “ok you can say negative things but don’t make them too negative and kind of sugarcoat it”. It’s not the tribalism people that are insane - it’s people like you. The reason people are trashing the hot toys when compared to the Inart is because it deserves to be trashed compared to Inart. Inart is not perfect but is a clearly significant piece. It’s not tribalism. It’s not a conspiracy. Just accept that most people are just more impressed with it than you are, you are in the minority. You can have whatever opinions you want but its not that you are right and everyone else is crazy or lying.

You seem to be pissed whenever someone says anything negative about inart. Fanboys like you are the worst thing to happen in this hobby.

If you watch livestreams these youtubers do, you will be able to understand that whatever mentioned is true. If Inart didn’t mention those stipulations, I don’t see a reason why Dean refused to do the review.

And i never said my opinions are correct and never said anyone crazy for liking the figure. There’s no conspiracy. If you don’t understand how free review samples for promotion work, i can’t do anything.

Brother, have you watched Justin's videos before? These companies could send him an opened, damaged Hasbro Legends figure, and his review would still be like:

"Here he is, standing straight up and down in the lightbox, and guys? I think he looks absolutely een-credible! Hot Toys really nailed it this time, in my opinion!"

I like his videos for what they are, but he is the last reviewer on Earth I'd go to for fair criticism.

Increasingly impressed by the look of the rooted hair on + cape + while holding the empty cowl look the more I see it in reviews.
I originally planned to display the rooted head in the futurama jar next to the figure or buy a drifter set to display it on and display Batman with the cowl on, but this look is winning me over.

Sorry brother. My mistake😂. Yeah should have not bothered about him

Harsh on Jedha. He did point out several things InArt could have done better. The magnets in the base, way the belt attaches, sticky bomb gun holster, lack of drape cape. Also said the likeness on the cowl wasn't perfect.

Justin's defence of the batteries was comical. Who leaves USB light features on 24hrs a day? It's just nice to be able to switch it on and off with a remote control each time you're in the room and not have to mess about with batteries.

Justin said batteries are bad and said people like fusion reactors are a boon. Then he comes and says usb will damage the led’s. Peak clownism thinking we will leave it on 24-7.

I remember him telling about magnets and belt, but I didn’t notice him saying anything about the cowl. Infact i think he mentioned it was 10/10. I maybe wrong. But have to check to confirm

No negative comments is wild. It's not called a review then
This is both true and not at the same time? Justin never said that, he only said something happened with his copy and he was waiting for them to send the "remedy". So it could be a missing item or QC issue. We don't know for sure. Not sure where Darco got the no negativity info from though, maybe he has insider info

DeanKnight? That dude is biased as heck against INART lol.

What we need is someone like me to do a “review.” Unbiased, not married to any one particular company, not a fanboy despite people thinking I am, objective and source based (lol). I’d point out all the flaws and pros with each and offer my own subjective opinions in an informed manner. I’m sorry that INART’s will still come out on top. Sincerely sorry. Just because there’s a good chunk of people outright saying that the INART Batman is better doesn’t mean it stems from a sense of tribalism. You ever consider the multi-faceted opinions of others might just be more/lean objective?

I criticize INART products whether you believe that or not – just received Gandalf last weekend and that figure is flawed. And yet, I still think it’s one of, if not the most gorgeous mass produced 1/6 even without water treatment and futzing.

I think some of us here have taken the terms ‘tribalism’ and ‘fanboying’ and have unfortunately applied it to everything.

Tribalism/fanboying is when a company can do NO wrong. Even when their business practices have been questionable, unnecessarily aggressive AND anti consumer, it doesn’t matter. In the end those that worship the company would say anything to deflect any negative talk. Examples of PEAK tribalism: Dinn meiers and Danoby.

Agreed?

Pointing out the obvious (InArt’s figure is the better figure) does NOT = tribalism.
Appreciating what InArt has provided even though it’s not all perfect does NOT = tribalism.

There isn’t much tribal-ing here. It’s mostly stating facts, educated opinions and preferences. Not every negative opinion towards HT means people are ‘blindly devoted’ to InArt. HT deserves a smack in the head for never changing their BS ways.

Exactly.

People automatically assume you are a “fanboy” or a “shill” if you say INART>Hot Toys, which is a subjective preference/opinion sure, but can be based on objectivity. Can we just keep it real? INART’s Battinson is a much better 1/6 representation than Hot Toys’ albeit not perfect (nothing ever is), but it’s still betterrrr…

However, what gets to me the most is when people get so bothered when presented with actual facts. Misinformation runs rampant on Facebook and YouTube and when a little (harsh) truths are said, people get their panties in a twist.

No joke, but people get upset or bothered (whatever you want to call it) when people like myself or others “defend” INART and say that the price difference was minimal between their respective lowest offerings, which are the most comparable. People claim that the INART Batman is beyond expensive than Hot Toys Batman and that’s just not true…? $40 USD?

InArt and Hot Toys won’t be the last The Batman figures.

True. The King Star Ace will beat the shi it out of both

Reminds me of the old Batman Begins days where you had Hot Toys and Medicom competing, and then from out of nowhere Takara comes out swinging with a Batman Begins figure that was considered better than the other two.

Good times. We need more competition among these companies. Maybe not Star Ace (LOL) but perhaps an Iconiq Studio, JND, etc
