Inart Rooted hair is a thing of beauty, I love how much diecast parts there is and the attention to detail top notch. Ofc that's to be expected given the higher price tag, and if it wasn't better that would've be a big, big problem.

I actually showed a couple of my non collector friends the comparison shots, what's funny is that they preferred the cowl look of the HTs one and thought the likeness was better in the HTs cowl.

You need better friends.

Yeah, I dunno. I just finished Justin's video, and I cannot fathom how people see a better likeness in the HT cowl. I don't think InArt is a 10/10, but it's closer than HT, IMO. I'll repeat the usual refrain: both are great releases, everyone should be happy with the one they've got, but for me? These reviews have affirmed that I made the right choice preordering InArt and putting my HT up for sale. I only need one version, and InArt is the one I want. 😍

Overall, I keep it simple but INART’s checks more boxes for me. I used to want the HT and decided to get the INART after being skeptical for a long time. Happy I did. Now, after seeing the comparison reviews, I don’t even want to spend my money on the HT for my own individual comparison. Just not worth it, imo, and I wouldn’t take it even if someone offered it to me for under $200 USD. Just no comparison to the INART’s. They reside in totally different hemispheres and what’s crazy to me is that INART’s Standard was only $40 USD more than the HT Collector’s (for me and most US based customers).

Watched Jedha's review I'm happy with everything but the cape. Was hoping InArt would end the need for custom capes but alas, a proper drape cape will be needed. Cavill Superman coming with two capes is definitely the way to go. Fingers crossed Batfleck and Bale figures get the same deal.

The cowl might not be perfect but it still looks very good to me. Not sure how anyone can say it looks nothing like Pattinson.

I asked 1/12 collector's and not even a single person voted for HT :ROFLMAO:

No negative comments is wild. It's not called a review then
Hmm seems abit shady and I don't like how IA handled that. Feels like some sort of monopoly building up, I would've been mad if I was Jedha having to wait like that.😐

And wth they sent Justin of all ppl an incomplete figure?? You would think they at least check each influencer batch before sending it off, seems abit of QC is lacking.

But It's funny to see other ppl opinions and how they view things differently. We collectors like to nick pick stuff and notice the smaller details.

Of course being in the IA thread here there is going to be bias, and ppl that purchased either the IA or HTs will try and defend it to justify their money spent. But objectively, IA is clearly superior, but rightly so given the price tag.

I hate to be that sort of person to bash another and say it's wrong to own one or the other, both ain't perfect and are great in their own way.

Him having to wait for Justin's review is dumb as hell but Jedha's review mentioned the various bits he's not a fan of with the figure. Even mentioned the design flaw they have with the eyes being moved when sliding the cowl head on. How does that work with supposedly not being able to say anything negative.

Yea, whatever you said is true. I will most likely try to swap parts and have fun and sell the HT after some time. Inart is clearly a better figure but both are not perfect and they have their own pro’s and cons. I can’t even imagine another round of tribalism when the artisan joker drops.

Jedha sugar coated many of the things when considering Inart and Justin simply bashed HT straight away. Justin didn’t even say a single thing bad about Inart. The irony is that they didn’t stress on these negatives in their standalone HT review. Even you can see the comments in their YouTube video where people questioned about their opinion when it’s sponsored.

I still feel Planet 33 review is better than these 2.

The way Justin justified the batteries in the batsignal was enough to know it was a biased review

But to be honest, people would call this figure the best batman figure ever or even best figure ever if they are offered a 1000-1200 dollar worth figure for free.

The cowl looks nothing like Pattinson.
I would say that's extreme, but I definitely think there are major setbacks with the sculpt.

I'm liking the other one a lot though. I'm starting to feel good about going premium. Partially because I'm less impressed with the cowl, but also because that hair will add so much to photography, which is one of the biggest fun factors about this figure for me.

I think the cowl will also photograph well, because it can really shine with minimal tinkering. But I'm not expecting to love it in hand. I was always wanting to display the raccoon head anyway though, so it's bittersweet I guess. At least I'm glad I have options.

Jesus man the Inart destroys the HT.

Inart’s head was never undersized after all it’s the HT head that is too large, it looks ridiculous.

The pouches on the HT are also ridiculously oversized looks like a Marvel Legends soft goods lol

HT head looks like a good figure.

Inart’s rooted head looks like a real person!

Inart proportions > HT.

Sorry HT, sit down.

New sheriff in town.
Inart's looks like an actual worn suit.
Hot Toys' looks like a toy that's trying to imitate that.. (They both are. But only one succeeds at selling it convincingly).

Aragorn or Superman would look amazing in the future.
This release got me even more excited about Aragorn. Long as they haven't messed with that sculpt, I wouldn't put it past me to definitively call it the best licensed 1/6 release of all time.

Which is crazy....

I really am eager to know if the eyes are removable..
Would have been amazing if they had designed switch out eyelid sockets with the eyes installed. One fully open, one squinted.

It sounds nuts, but I think it's doable.

That's a game changer right there for a figure like this.

I agree the likeness is not 100% on the INART cowled sculpt, but imo, it’s still overall better between the two.

I know there’s one more person I’ve seen that also thinks the same thing, but are we really the only ones who thinks the eyes are really widely spaced on the HT cowl? If you were to remove the cowl, the eyes would be anatomically off. That alone kills it for me in any comparison discussion.

Also, the side profile on the INART is considerably more accurate than the Hot Toys version where it’s more “squished in” for lack of a better word.
The back of the cowl on the Hot Toys sculpt is absolutely atrocious. It's like they haven't based it on any reference material.

I prefer Inart's for sure. But I'm not fully sold on either.
