Just think for the $2000 that I lost preordering seven figures, you could spend $2000 more on… two custom figures…

(Which realistically would mean that I would spend $4000 on two figures… oof)

Thankfully I have never been stung like that in the one sixth game (well not yet). I heard BCS owed hundreds of thousands to customers in unfulfilled orders. The swine's. :angryfist:

I had a browse and see they also have the proto head sculpts of Craig and Llewelyn.

I wonder if we'll see the proto sculpts from the deluxe Doctors?
The ones that I bought were the Proto sculpts for the deluxe 10. They certainly look alot better without the removable hair for PERS. And as of my last posting, the deluxe 12 smiling sculpt was up.

6th Doctor, 2nd Doctor, and 5th doctor prototypes were also previously available.

I can confirm this new activity is being investigated by the liquidators Begbies Traynor.
It will be considered by the Joint Liquidators’ statutory investigation.

The store has made approximately £8100 in sales with a further £7,000 being held in stock.

Of concern is the nature of the stock as it was not declared during the asset assessment.
Only new and sealed stock was purchased by a third party.

In addition to this, the Etsy store location is in Birmingham and there has since been confirmation of the Return Address.

There is obviously the secondary issue of the items sold, no longer being under license by the rights holders.

That being said, the main interest is the over £15,000 in stock withheld from the liquidators.
The necessary actions have already been taken to document and record this activity, which is why i'm now able to share it here.

Fascinating development. The Delgado Master head was sold too. It really feels quite disturbing in many ways, because so many people lost so much money on pre-orders (myself included).

Is it even legal for them to sell these items? Or is it considered stolen merchandise (from the creditors)?

What was the name of the etsy page they had been selling this stuff under? Was the page deleted? I'm not interested in giving anyone from Big Chief any more money than they've already taken from me, I'm just being nosy.

I wonder if they're printing these? Have there been multiples of each sold?

Because that's an interesting take - someone has the STLs, which aren't a physical asset any longer.

It’s called kitbash corner

'Coincidently' the same name shared by the spares and overstock page back on the old BCS website... (obviously not a coincidence)

It's still a bit of a grey area legally, however we can assume the the files were created or paid for by BCS which makes the file itself property of BCS.
So nobody outside of 'Begbies Traynor' should have access to those files.
In addition, the licensing agreement with the rights holder, likely stipulated that any items manufactured under the agreement; prototype or otherwise, was only subject to sale with active licensing agreement.
(It gets murky with being able to sell existing stock after the initial production, highly dependant on the contract details which i'm not privy to.)

They have been multiples and they sold for about $70. I can't imagine they weren't reprints.

True, we know that multiple head prototypes were 3D printed by an external company.

This is to say that there were also multiple heads created of the same characters, for paint testing, prototyping, modifying, sampling, approvals ect.
It would appear that those are what were being sold in limited quantities.

However, we also know that for a very brief time, there was a banner on the Etsy page proclaiming that more would be made and not to worry if they sell out.
This has since been removed, I suspect it was know that doing so would be legally questionable.

How discreet of them.:giggle: There's a movie to be made here of BCS shady shenanigans.:sneaky:

At the moment the Kitbash Corner has no items for sale. They were still up and active earlier today. The whole thing is so strange and disturbing.
