I still don’t think it’s connected. That guy just doesn’t want to break the gel connection of the hair on top of the head.

He also twists the rear section when lifting it and I’d presume the connection would be a simple hinge joint- so wouldn’t twist.

Didn’t the very first reviewer completely separate the head?
Now I need to confirm.

Update:
Yeah, I really just think everyone’s too scared to pull it away from the hair.

My Gandalf hair at the back was stuck on there and yes it's just the gel and magnets so it does come off. Makes no sense for InArt to start doing that type of connection at this point.

How many batches do you guys think this figure will have? I think this Batman figure can be close to the Joker quantity right? And assuming Inart said they will try to reduce the number of batches we can guess, in the best escenario, a 3-5 months to ship everything.

From someone that pre-ordered from SpecFiction I expect the longest delay too 😅

I keep telling you, Deanna Ritter is NOT real.
She's real to me, dammit!

I ordered Gandalf with them since they had a few extra. Should be coming in this month. I did the same research, and it seems they have great reviews. I did do a deposit on the All-In Batman, but everything is G&S so I feel secure. I’ll keep you posted on Gandalf if it arrives. It does sound like they just started shipping to the US. So they might be a hidden gem for a bit here!
Thanks man, I'd appreciate the update!

The hair issue just seems like user-anxiety to me.

First time you remove Joker’s hair, it feels a little like you’re cracking it off because the hair gel has both parts sort of stuck together but the system is designed in a way that has the rear piece slotting under the front so the hair seamlessly overlaps.
I think you just need to go for it.

I’d love to know how the hell that wingsuit works and where it came from.
In the movie, it just seemed to magically envelop him like how Flash’s suit psychics-defyingly jumps out of a tiny ring.
Yeah. It's really not as bad as people think.

The bigger issue here as Wor Gar said is the eyes getting knocked when you slot the head back on. I don't think this was designed with SERS in mind. I remember them stating wanting to use the magnetic feature for this and Gandalf.

Most of my complaints with this release are with the cowled sculpt. If they had taken the time to optimize and implement community feedback as they said they were, the results could have been astonishing. Instead, rather than settle on a confident prototype early on in the development stage, they used a placeholder, and kept making drastic changes without consultation, until they worked themselves into a corner.

Yes that’s going to drive me crazy.

How are the eyes controlled on InArt figures?

I'm not sure what the story is with "Capegate," but there's plenty of shots at that aforementioned length throughout the film. I just grabbed a few below without even going through the whole film.

Personally, I think the only time it looks "short" is when it's in motion, but when he's doing small movements or standing still, the length seems to be very consistent.

Obviously I've jacked up the light levels so we can actually see it as best we can at full length, but even the most iconic shot that was in the trailers where he walks over to the bloodstain on the ground it's at that same length.

Here's a behind the scenes shot that definitively shows the length.

I think another issue for the varying opinions of the length is that the edges seem to sit up higher - maybe the cape must curve upwards on the ends? But the bulk of the back piece is down at the ankles.

This picture makes the length issue @spaceghost2000 and I were talking about earlier, even more puzzling. If the short edged area of the cape is due to a large amount of excess shorter fabric being folded on his back, I feel that it's something you would notice on his shoulder. There should be a more noticeable brunch up of fabric seen as it narrows towards the neck/shoulder area, especially if it's being folded over to give us that shorter edged area. Instead, it looks to be pretty smooth, seamless and flat there. Maybe I'm overthinking it though, who knows.

Very unique cape. Wish we had better photos of it with some proper lighting. I'd love to see the cape laid out flat to see the actual pattern.

Let me know man. I have my advanced suit struck in Tennessee since a month. It's not Sanctum toys fault but their partner in US is horrible. Everything is packed and kept, but the partner is saying Fedex has manpower issues. Shipping to other countries was relatively easy and I don't know why shipment to NC from Tennessee requires a month

Unreal's sculpt sounds promising. It's a work in progress. It'll have rolling eyes, and he's considering seamless/articulated. I don't know if the finish can be quite as detailed as Inart's in texture/paintwork, but it's going to be an improvement in general.

I'm still uncertain I want to go the road of overspending on this figure. Only time will tell.
