Lmao with due time. I got the premium I was undecided but now kinda wish I got the signal.

What happened with me was….after having spent 2k on 2 IA Joker ‘deluxe’ sets…and then over 1K for 2 Gandalf…I thought “this isn’t sustainable”. I had to start drawing some lines yknow? With Battinson, I told myself to get the middle version. Not the standard, not the all in, just the middle. It’ll be good enough. Don’t need Bruce, and don’t need the signal…

Dammit I’m still feeling that regret 🥵🥵

I keep saying it as more footage of this comes in, but this is sublime, man. This paired with the Bat Signal.. definitely looking like this will be my favorite figure in the collection. No question. I f****** love this thing.

Same, I just couldnt afford the ALL-IN despite being super tempted by it.
Really want that signal and Bruce now.

Completely agree, its a great suit and honestly - If I were to take away my nostalgia fuzzy feelings I would probably say R-Pat is my favourite Batman

I’d still give the edge to Baleman as my fav with Batfleck as a very VERY close 2nd…but Battinson did a great job taking on the mantle. When he eventually slips into the more familiar territory of “playboy by day, Batman by Night”, he might…MIGHT dethrone Bale as my fav.

I've looked at enough references now. My only two complaints still stand.

I swear, the slightest correction of that jawline could make a huge difference for me. I don't know why it bothers me so much, it's not an OCD thing in this case, but the masked sculpt is just not sitting right with me. It's giving his face a too rounded contour. It's too far from the image impressed in my mind, even when the source material is right in front of me.

And the other is the length of the cape. They went overboard.
You are talking about the chin? Cause the jaw doesn't look that round to me bro

I may get cancelled for this but Bale is my least favourite live-action Batman [after Clooney of course - objectively the worst].
Worst part of those films for me.
But opinion is subjective!

For me it goes:

Keaton = Pattinson
Val Kilmer
West
Affleck
Bale

Clooney

At this point, I'm trying to convince myself I'm not crazy (by collector standards I mean)

It's his cheeks mainly. It's a very subtle difference at a glance. But it really changes how the face registers in my eyes.

I know, his mouth is slightly open. lens distortion and such.. there's no such thing as a perfect comparison, but I've looked at countless references and it's all I can see. It's like, his face just needs to taper, and I don't see it in the sculpt.

After getting this angle pic from Black, I was able to see what you were saying. You’re definitely right. The cheek should not flare out as much as it does.

I understand now. It's the forehead as well

If we’re gonna talk about more “minute nitpicks”, imo the cowl nose section should’ve been longer, wider and angle out more. Too short as is. He’s got a little stubby cowl nose lol. Really throws it off for me.

And his eyes should’ve been squinted. Would’ve made a world of difference.

Yeah I agree I think I'll be satisfied with just the premium.

It's not the "squareness" or corners of the jaw but rather how it gets to that point. @Scout Trooper illustrated it clearly.

I'm fine with it for now. We'll see whenever I receive mine.

I second this. I feel the suit is what I would have imagined in a grounded Batman world. I actually feel Pattinson has come out on top as my favorite Batman. Though I love all of the different iterations this version just wins me over.

I get what you mean man, it's the same sculpt from last event where his cheeks width are bigger than the old protos. In my perfect world the cheeks should be like this edit, subtle difference like you said but changes his whole sculpt. He looks more JND like, which honestly they got the cowl cheeks width better on that section of the statue.

I made a crude edit (right) with the tapered cheek. I also made the actual cowl nose piece larger. Should’ve been slightly longer, wider and angled out more like in the film. I remember asking INART to optimize that.

Also, if the eyes were squinted, it would’ve gone a long way for the overall likeness. Pattinson squints a lot throughout the film (my crude edit doesn’t capture that well).
