Yes, HT’s cape is sort of pre ironed and creased nicely. But because of the papery fabric it does not lay flat, even with the wiring. I assume from pics that InArts is similar. So I use some low tack double sided tape here and there in those folds to get a very flush natural looking drape.

The trick is to just use the folds/creases that are already there. I little tape will go a long way.

After making a lot of units for Engame and star wars and them not selling they no longer want to risk losing resources and money so they make smaller batches which eventually sell out.

That’s kinda on them tho. They made some crap figures of characters nobody wanted sooooo. Like of course figures like rey and boring storm troopers are gonna sit on the shelf and figures like rots anakin and Spider-Man sell out. They just make poor choices lol

Definitely on them, which is well deserved but they probably have learned their lesson in terms of quantity but sadly not on the IPs they choose to make.

Rey has never sat on shelves. TROS Rey sold out soon after release on SS.

The ht has two capes; a drape and a fully wired one.

Depends what you’re after. Rory has worked wonders with the drape by using double sided tape.

I’m not happy but have got the wired one where I want it mostly.

So, is the consensus that the Art15 collar is the best version? I'm about ready to order and have so many options, lol.

Anybody selling the drape cape? (Cheap)

Happy to have finally got mine. I had the OATY collar ready to go. I also opened the neck on the drape cape to fit better. All in all, a great figure. I have the InArt on order, but not sure if the upgrade and extra expense is worth it now.
