Hot Toys blocky body, narrow chest/shoulder and slightly oversized head proportions stick out in comparison. Makes the whole figure feel stumpy. Combined with their tight neck collar piece, it looks off. INARTs version can actually use a bit of a slight adjustment in the shoulder to not have it look as wide. I think their sculpt size is fine but the wider shoulder throws it off a touch.

HT is a great option but is the one that needs custom pieces and modding to bring it up to where it should be. INART looks to be one that will be better off straight out of the box. If you're spending nearly $100 to get a custom neck collar and doing other modifications, I would rather just spend that extra money on the standard solo Batman figure from INART.

The Inart cowl is bigger than HT and HT racoon head is bigger than Inart racoon head. Is this correct?

I agree Inart Batman will probably stay stock out the box and just be futzed. The quality just looks better don't get wrong HT Bats is still good but InArt does do the whole figure a lot better.

Cowled looks to be roughly the same, with some of the dimensions being off or different I.e. the ears being longer with InArts and HTs being shorter.
Lens distortion and the InArt cowl being ever so slightly closer to camera gives the illusion of it appearing bigger.

Raccoon head…yeah HTs seems a tad larger.

Yes a proper comparison is due. No one even bothers to fix the cross eyes. I hope Jedha Patrol/Justin's review goes up today

Okay.
Even to someone with as poor eyesight as me for when it comes to noticing all the small minutia of costumes, there is a pretty damn big and visible difference between the HT and the Inart on pretty much all the elements.
The HT is still a great figure and good value for money and I for one would be happy to own it.
But the Inart looks stunning.
For me, this Batman is my new joint favorite, so the Inart option makes sense for me as I have a passion for the character/iteration.

NOW I want a drifter set to display the Inart head - which one will let me do that again? Where do I order?

Better comparison image. But yeah InArt takes it for me. View attachment 697689
Finally good futzed rooted hair than what we’ve seen so far. Let the people who are not as passionate about the suit order the HT it’s already good.

But Inart?? This is their best 1/6 scale yet. There is almost no degradation from the prototype photos. That never happens in 1/6.

I get big "man stuck in undersized outfit" vibes from HTs. It's weird because I don't think their cowl sculpt is oversized like that. Maybe I'm wrong. I've seen more modded/custom Batman HT figures than stock ones at this point.

I never doubted InArt’s version would make HT version obsolete.

Sure I could’ve taken a more diplomatic approach and say ‘oh HT version is still good…’

Nah man 🤣. This pic perfectly illustrates what many collectors that had to put up with HT’s BS have been dealing with for so long: always needing to mod the crap out of an almost $300 figure.

My FB feed from various 1/6 groups are always showing collar mods, cowl mods…and I’m thinking, this stupid company is never gonna change. The effin company just refuses to go the extra mile.

The HT mods to me are crazy, when all that money could have went with Inart to begin with. Now they cost the same and Inart will still blow em out of the water. 😂

The collar isn’t going to fix that figure’s dear life..

Yeah man I'm suprise how weird HT looks next to InArt now. I still like it for what it is but man if I get InArt Batman in I might be very tempted to sell the HT now. Lol ironically I bought some collars for it and spent almost $300 for all three versions. Didn't do anything else but I'm so glad I got both.

Do you think this is better than Gandalf or Joker or Pennywise. Hell no. This is their weakest among the 4😷

Riiiight??

So now we have 2 figures produced by 2 different companies: Pennywise and Batman. Both have been released and both have been compared and InArt’s figures are clearly the superior ones.

Yo..,I am beyond HYPED for Baleman and Batfleck…

Bro, get rid of that junk now man 🤣🤣 you might still be able to sell it at MSRP to someone that hasn’t been exposed to InArt’s version.

There is always personal bias when it comes to characters. Mine is going to be this one. If we’re talking about technical details though there’s no argument that this is the most complicated suit design among the four.

If we’re talking about headsculpt only I can see why people can like Gandalfs more or Pennywise. But for me, the rooted is good enough for me. Overall as the whole package this my personal number one. :)
