Pre-orders never opened for it, probly a long way off. The previous poster might've meant the Toys Era Aerith ('The Ancient', which is pretty good looking - but overdue and no new news)

Hah yeh I feel ya, my GT Cloud plus I got a VSToys Chocobo to go with him, amounted to a bit of money that I hadn't really budgeted for. And yet I'm tempted to get the Toys Era Aerith instead of being patient (though who knows how patient I'd needa be for that one as well anyway). And I'm trying not to buy the Bring Arts Barret, just because I want a great 1/6th Barret but there isn't one argh.

I don’t know why, but I feel like GT will eventually make Barret as well.
Aren’t Bring Arts way smaller than sixth scale anyway? I might be wrong. But they’re like Figmas no? They look great, but I feel they’re a little too pricey for what you get.
If you absolutely must have him, I say go for it. 😅
 
I'd be surprised (tho very happy!) if GT does Barret. His body shape is very unique, wouldn't be able to recycle any of the work done on all their figures so far which have all been slight tweaks and variations on one male body AFAIK.

Suppose there's better odds for him than Cait Sith or Red XIII though - those two need whole new skeletons and a solution to the question of how they'd do the fur. Barret's skin color might be a new challenge for GT, having to get the silicone looking realistically like black skin, but it's certainly achievable. I dunno how you make a Cait Sith or Red XIII up to the same visual standards as the rest of the GT line.

If you don't mind paying the very expensive aftermarket for the Gametoys version, is I believe on eBay and AliExpress. There is that Super Duck one that I've seen on AliExpress and eBay, it actually looks better in hand than the promo pics from what I've seen, and then there's the VTS Toys one, not a fan of that one personally. Toys Era may make it though, not sure about Gametoys doing a re-issue, have to see.

I'd recommend this, It's called "1/6 Longshan LS2023-TF Fantasy Goddess Action Figure", pretty cheap, it's available for pre-order on Giantoy, Gametoys one was on there but they're all sold out, you could wait for people to cancel their orders and take them instead on OneSixthKit or even put yourself on a waitlist on Giantoy or even try to find them on other retailers websites but I'd be impressed if you could. But if you want Tifa for a pretty low decent price, go for this, there is the ACG one but no one knows when that'll be out and also I believe that is only coming with the purple dress unless they make another with the default outfit, have to see. Also forgot to mention that Cloud super duck set is fairly cheap too on AliExpress.

Yeah I was looking at the VTS version but it’s like 13inches tall lol. I was actually looking at that Tifa but god knows when that release being third party. That first one (is it the Superduck) looks like Cloud fell asleep in the tanning bed lool

Lol yeah the first one is super duck, the promo shots aren't very good, but when the "blogger" photos if you'd like to call it were released, he came out a lot more "less tanned" if that's the right way of saying it? But yeah that VTS version, I agree way too tall and I'm not a fan of the hair sculpt either. That Tifa figure, no idea, could be next year but I suppose the choice you have to make is, would you rather spend more on Gametoys if you can even get the opportunity to acquire her or even the ACG one if that gets announced properly, but I have no idea what is going on with that nor do many people here would know.

I will likely just get the AC Cloud before he rockets and stomach that it’s different to Remake/Rebirth when displaying with Tifa and Aerith (haven’t played Rebirth yet) first world problems 🤣

Lol, to be honest the headsculpt on AC Cloud is better than their remake headsculpt, better paint apps.

Mine currently has his shirt off like he just been in Costa Del Sol, chillin on his chocobo (altho I guess then the chocobo is the wrong colour for right outside Costa Del Sol lol) but to me like this he feels pretty representative of remake cloud. Would be nice to have the buster sword obv. But the body pack is comin too and hopefully that'll have the sword. And this headsculpt is better than the original GT Remake sculpt anyway. Only thing is the Fenrir earing instead of the stud, which gets my OCD but hey hah. And besides, I also have him posed with Nektar from 16. Embrace the chaos

SGD Studio sure knows how to hype up excitement for Tifa! That bonus short hair version was unannounced. I thought it was only gonna be the extra purple dress that'll come with her as a bonus. Oh well, I'm happy I was able to secure an SGD Tifa from a store even without the short hair bonus head. I hope they start shipping her out already.

I’m still waiting on Nin-Nin to ship all my PAK stuff as I went on a bit of a craze there but those Bring Arts look kinda cute and would look great on the work desk. Nice try Satan
 
So for this scaled up shinra belt it will be my first project where I’ve actually used sculpting tools in blender. I was feeling pretty underwhelmed but after I put it into my resin slicer I’m a little more optimistic.
