Actually prefer how the paint looks on the GT but the ACG hair shape and base sculpt looks better. Really highlights how much I dislike the GT lips also.

ACG makeup looks too overdone.... like a little girl's first attempt.

I think if GameToys covered the left ear (the one without the earring) and worked on the lips a bit more, she would basically be perfect. She would be at least on par with Cloud, which is all we are asking.

This Sculpt destroys Gametoys.
When I told you that the GT had a big likeness problem, some people dared to laugh, and today we have the perfect proof with the ACG sculpt which is really Tifa, in all her beauty and sweetness.

I've always said that GT's problems are its eyes and mouth, and they absolutely have to fix that.

I've made a quick comparison, although it's unfair for ACG whose photos were taken quickly with a phone and poor lighting, whereas GT's are professional photos.

Feel like I'm seeing something different to y'all or something, because to my eyes the Tifa on the right is far closer to what she looks like in Remake and Rebirth.

The one on the left is arguably closer to her appearance in AC but not by much IMO.

Jk aside, I see where you're coming from, the GT head is closer to remake but it's just not done too well imo.

This Acg head makeup is probably a little overdone, but it is pretty and captures Tifa's kindness and features better. It's probably more suitable for the purple dress variant as that is what this head will be sold with.

I'd be too worried about the scale. The GT line feels underscaled. You'd hope that any other companies would do the sensible thing and make their own figures to match the GT precedent, but you can never count on that.
 
After comparing it with GTs sculpt and the game, there's something off with ACG version as well. It's missing that bubbly look to it that GT has. A mix of both of these sculpts would have probably given us the perfect one. ACG kind of gives a more "generic" sculpt vibe if that makes sense. Might be making her look too old or serious? Not sure.

I think ACG is closer to the in-game model. Whereas GT leans more to the cg promotional ads. Narrowing GT's jawline will reflect the official photo on the right.

I'll be honest, I prefer Gametoy's head with the eyes f the right. My hot take but Tifa to me doesn't look right in AC or in the remakes. I feel like GT's version is the best in general, but I felt this way about their Cloud and Zack who are apparently not accurate 100% to the new game .
 
The ACG Tifa just looks more like an actual person. I definitely think GameToys version looks more like Tifa, it's just a little on the cartoony side. GameToys made the same creative choice with Cloud and Sephiroth of scaling up their eyes from the game model, and it's a choice I agree with, it makes them pop from a distance. I often feel with all these close up photos people forget these heads are an inch tall lol.

The Super Duck Tifa 2.0 head looks really good in the prototype images. Unfortunately, the final product isn’t as good, but it’s still third place on the list, in my opinion.

As for first, I want to say it’s inconclusive at the moment, because the GameToys version just needs to fix the lips (the ACG has the correct shape, but the lip color is off or there’s too much lipstick) and tuck the ear on the left side of her head under her hair, like in the CG character art posted above.

If GameToys does that, then I’m sure it’ll be on the same level as Cloud—who isn’t perfect himself, but he’s pretty close.
 
I still don't think any company including SE who made the game have done any sort of decent job capturing tifa. She seems to be an enigma when it comes to figures of her. Ironically the one I think did it well was the jack o pose statue. I really like the face sculpt on that just hate the pose lol
