Can't actually believe they haven't included a pic with the cowl on. That's surely how 95% of us will display him. Almost like they're trolling us :lol
Kinda interesting but I see the opposite actually. At least that’s what everyone tells me where they say things like “I only buy these things to display likenesses and portraits!” “Only reason why I got the INART is for the rooted headsculpt and I’ll be displaying my Hot Toys one with the cowl!” “I can’t wait to slap the portrait and have him holding the cowl!”
Etc.

IMO it still looks like the best The Batman representation made by anyone by a mile, I can't wait to get it. I wish I could also get a standard BW since that sculpted hair looks much better now, I wish it looked that good in their first promo pics.

Think people are too used to seeing the skinny HT or something. Pattinson was pretty beefed up looking with all the suit armor on.
Yeah I didn't fully notice until a recent rewatch how wide and beefy he actually came across as, especially in the shoulders. I'm glad they picked up on that.

That surprises me. I always display my Batman figures with the cowl. Apart from a quick pic here and there I'll only ever use the unmasked head on one of the drifter sets.

I’m with you as well. But imo, the majority actually don’t. Especially on Facebook where you had tons of people say things to same effect like “who cares about the Spidey mask debacle, who isn’t displaying it with the Tobey sculpt?”

But yeah, I agree with you. This is a Batman figure and part of what makes this costume character design special is the cowl itself, which is how we usually see him in the fil anyway. Which is why I got the Standard set, and will probably snap a quick pic of the sculpted hair portrait on it during my unboxing and back to the box it’ll go and stay there lol.

The amount of bashing from Facebook towards the head is atrocious, simply wet his hair like the promo pics and he will look 10x better.View attachment 695865
When it comes to “nuanced” things like this, I sometimes wonder if Facebook users even know how to read and interpret a picture. It pains me to see us going through the same overreaction only to then be swayed once better pictures come out. Such a whiplash effect on FB. It’s annoying….

Man WTH happened to this thread? lol
When this guy was first shown, almost everyone was freaking out over it, and couldn't wait to PO it. And now NOTHING is right with the figure? Really?
Now don't get me wrong, I doubt the "perfect" figure will ever exist, and I'm sure it'll have it's own set of little nitpicks and/or QC issues. But I think a lot of folks here must either be trolling, or they need to get their eyes checked. 'Cause this dude looks awesome to me! lol
I can't wait to see this guy stand on the shelf in all it's intimidating glory!

Eh to be fair, these really aren't the best photos. You're seeing the usual gut reaction to them. Happens every time with both INART and Hot Toys. Get some bad blogger photos out of the way until the figure gets into the hands of people who actually know how to pose/futz/photograph it properly. People will be singing the usual high praise then.

Or hey, maybe the actual final product is a bit of a dud and it's a not so good release. Anything is possible. Until then, let the initial panic set in!

Also who was the one constantly asking for them to fix the leg/thigh stitching to be like the initial proto? Was it you @potatocorner4life ? If so, looks like they heard you! :lol

Also many of the guys are trying to cope harder just because u ordered this figure. The Bruce Wayne sculpt looks bad as of now. It might look better in review or in hand as Inart products usually look better in hand just like my joker was completely different.

Or it might turn out bad. What so if it turns out bad? Are u guys entitled to Inart? Just get the HT and move on. Or mix and match.

Different people have different opinions to express and in the end it's we who are gonna own the figure. Just buy the figure u like and move on. There is no need to support any company blindly
