Pretty sure it was only 6-700 available at sideshow, if that. so slightly less then 50%.

I keep hearing 800 at Sideshow, 400 in China, 300 in Hong Kong.

That would seem to be in line with how the queue played out for me. When I first got in, it said 822 ahead of me in line. When the line paused (which seems to be the time where it actually sold out and switched to the waitlist), I had 76 ahead of me still. So that is pretty close to the 800 (with a chunk for replacements).

Who the hell goes "Yeah, 500 oughtta do it for the entireity of North America, good job. Get on it troops."

God did not give me enough 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
No no no, you’re forgetting the whole continent of Europe, Australia (oceania?) and probably some South American countries. Huuuuuuuge amount of pressure. This HT - Sideshow partnership is not serving anyone well at this point.

I tried that with a Boss figure and the head came in under scaled compared to all my other clones. That is what is keeping me looking at this thing.
Some creators will scale parts better and some sellers will send replacement printed parts if they are decent sellers. In fact, if you need correctly scaled armor, Skylu3d used the HT clone as reference for his clone armor STL files so should be perfect fit provided you are using a correctly proportioned body (I heard that Worldbox does one that fits great in HT clone armor). You could ask Skylu for recommended print sellers (Syndicate customs for example). As for the painting I do not have much experience with painters so cannot recommend any but many of the people who sub to Skylu3D's patreon are sellers who also do finished figures w=so if you hopped into his discord perhaps you could find recommendations for best painters.

yes, they are great, just a tad expensive when a figure is in demand (just following market value I guess)

Yeah, I just need to get a replacement headsculpt. I can paint it myself, its more of a "I already spent so much money on this" that it is hard to justify more money. The whole situation as a mess, this was Scaletta's last real outing. If you have heard about that.

I eventually plan to get a 3D printer myself, once the living situation is less tumultuous.

North America AND Europe, and I guess also Australia? ~800 figures for ~1.1 billion people, yey.

Dont. Stay strong. May 4th is coming up.
Thank you, collecting for me is in a hard place right now. I am making more money but it is harder to justify buying older releases as they go up in price. Both Hot Toys and Sideshow. I basically am just hoping most of the figures I want get re-released. Eventually I can make my own Umbran Arc Trooper.

I don't believe I have heard the story, if you have a link I would like to read.

Yeah, 3D printing at home is a hassle but super cheap per part printed.

Buy a cheap clone and an airbrush... I know that's not for everyone, but if you've got some patience you can learn to airbrush pretty effectively...
I have made customs, I am hoping this summer to get back into it.

I do not have a link anymore, but basically he stopped paying people and was taking money, This came to ahead with the Republic Commando Custom Set. I only received my figure because the Ukrainian artist received a few figures to paint before Scaletta vanished. This is a very shortened version of events.

dang. I thought scaletta was a trusted name in the hobby. Good news I guess is that with 3D printing folk can make such troopers at home now. Skylu3D, Budget3d, Mandalorian Business, Galactic Armory etc etc are all making 3D printable armor and weapons for all sorts of troopers including Republic Commandos. Heck, I am now making 3D printable files (just check my thread were I posted pics of them including General Veers and snowtrooper armor kits plus many blasters etc) so we no longer need rely on custom artists as much anymore. Hopefully as more jump into it we could see even more variety of custom figures in the hobby.

He was for a long time, but not anymore.

I need to follow all of them, I was using a certain person who was printing and selling but they don't exist anymore. Thats how I built my Fordo and a few others.

I actually saw your post on Reddit and commented. Very excited about it, as I can't justify the cost of any of the Sideshow ESB troopers.
