Then again, as I’m saving so much money on being able to completely ignore HT’s existence these days, I can afford to indulge in much higher quality collectibles.

Keep churning out that trash, Disney. I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable POing the InArt Phoenix Joker 4 pack without the assurance that you’ll be keeping Hot Toys occupied making good figures from crap projects for the foreseeable future.

Yeah anyone that is still surprised by Hot Toys being Hot Toys hasn’t been collecting long enough.

I really don’t understand the appeal of these random Jedi, Sith and video game clone troopers. In fact, I don’t understand the appeal of modern Star Wars in general. I thought it was a dying brand, but it just won’t die!

I love Andor but not a thing was made from it. Gutted.

I am curious to see more about this Dark Side thing though.

.Back in 2009 or 2010 we gave so much attention to them and kept buying all there joker variants and iron man doll’s because “they looked so real” we put so much stock into the company and gassed them up so high that they aren’t held accountable for the stuff they do.
When they announced a figure 99 percent of the time it was released. Not today.
They had a broader range of figures and would make things from films like iglorious bastards and godfather.

They just had a wide range of stuff to put out but now they are so big that all they put out is crap Disney stuff like stormtroopers and various red and gold robots

All my money has been going to third party companies recently as they are the ones releasing figures I am interested in. If HT wants to keep flooding with figures from IPs I have no interest in, that is fine by me.

It's why I started collecting statues in 2020. I'm a DC fan first and foremost, and hot toys does it care about DC. I'm glad I got the Arkham knight Catwoman prime 1 did, because hot toys ain't gonna do it.

I'm happy to collect Star Wars and marvel because I love those characters too, but if I want something DC, that's what the statues are for.

Queen studios 1/4 Ledger Joker is beautiful, the hot toys 1/4 was a half assed piece of junk.

They look well done but what an absolute yawnfest. I feel bad for Hasbro probably being mandated to put those out.

I don’t. They chose to renew their Star Wars license, it’s not forced upon them.
